I came for a few weeks and loved Kas Joy so much that I have been here for 6 weeks and will be staying for several months. When you find a place that feels like home, is surrounded by nature, has outstanding hosts and beautiful amenities you just want to stay. I highly recommend Kas Joy—the absolute gem hidden in plain sight.||||Selin and Tefo are thoughtful, welcoming, kind hosts who created and maintain the slice of paradise that is Kas Joy. They make sure I have everything I need and often even anticipate my needs. As a solo traveler, I love being in a place that allows me both privacy and community.||||For the first few weeks, I stayed in the cozy free-standing bungalow with a shared bathroom. It was fantastic for a short-term stay. Because I decided to stay longer, I moved to a bigger en suite room. The room is aesthetically pleasing and was designed by travelers for travelers—bedside lights and multi-purpose wardrobe, etc. It’s comfortable and nights are incredibly quiet.||||The covered outdoor kitchen has all the necessary amenities. I love that I can spend most of my day outdoors—cooking, on the grass, or on my porch looking at the beauty of this consciously created garden.||||Kas Joy is located a 20-minute walk or a short scooter ride from town. I can’t imagine ever tiring of the walk along the Mediterranean Sea to get groceries and any essentials. The local beach is located a 5-minute walk down the hill.||||I guess the only potential downside is the solar-heated showers. If it’s been cloudy, you may not have a steaming hot shower that day. I haven’t found it to be a problem.||||Kas Joy, with its fresh mountain air, relaxing garden, exceptional hosts, and beautiful amenities, is a rustic spa experience and highly recommended. Perhaps when you arrive, I’ll still be here to...

Read moreIt's not for everyone and definitely not worth the money. Avoid if you value your sleep and safety: These tents are literally next to each other, so you sleep like 3-4 meters apart from the next couple and even the tiniest snoring or noise would be a problem. The noise from the bar also doesn't help. There was a lady next door loudly chatting on the phone until 2.30am. I went to the reception 1am to ask to help with that but nothing changed. There is a problem with wild boars in Kas. They are everywhere outside of the strict center. We had a close meeting with a female boar with babies literally 50 metres away from the camp, which could be very dangerous if you react inappropriate. Also, there is no side/pedestrian road from the city so you have to walk 1.5km in the dark on a pretty busy road. The Lady at the reception barely spoke English so this cause some misunderstandings unfortunately. Generally, my partner booked himself a hotel after first night, he really hated it. I tried one more night and didn't enjoy, I'm afraid. One star for general tidy look...
