Mermaid Beach Restaurant — Restaurant in Antalya

The restaurant/beachclub disinforms its guests, nobody says this when you enter, take sunbeds, swim and bathe. They show you small piece of paper with rules, when you try to leave. Their rules are if you stay there, you should pay 100 tl per person for sunbed and umbrella AND you can eat only in their restaurant. If you try to go out, they forbid you, force you either to eat with them, or take your things and get out. I advise to check all beachclubs and restaurants on this beach, compare prices, menus and sunbeds and entrance to the water (in the opposite side of beach there is sand entrance, in this restaurant the entrance is big pebble, not comfortable to enter without coral shoes) and then decide where you want to stay to avoid such situations and disappointment. Big Pebble Beach in Kaş is probably the best option for anyone who does not want to go far from Kaş town, but not be stuck in one of the overcrowded, overpriced beach clubs. Easy to get there by dolmuş, on foot (one minor hill between town and beach) or by taxi / car. Enough parking space -maybe not so much in July or August- and several privately run places to choose from. The bay is beautiful, the water sparkling clean with all shades of green and blue. The prices for the sunchairs are the same everywhere on the beach, but it's the quality of the service and food that makes the difference. I happened to find this place on a YouTube video when doing a quick research on Kas - it exceeded my expectations in every aspect. I called them to book a table from Skype, as I don’t have a local number in Turkey. Immediately after that, Ilyas sent a Whatsup message to inform me that we have a table - he even sent photos of our table right on the beautiful pebble beach. It wowed us when we were walking down to the beach and saw the table - what an amazing place!
