Büyükçakıl Plajı — Attraction in Antalya

A place to be early in the morning, in daytime and by the sunset! It was just a perfect day in the tranquil fall season 2022. We visited the place at the end of October. The water temperature was still so warm, around 25 Celsius degrees. Natural therapy for your body and a multivitamin to your soul.

You can lay on the sun-beds and enjoy the day watching the water tide and the small boats passing by, sunbath, read a book, or have some cold drinks to enjoy the ambiance more.

The water was crystal clear, very clean indeed and not inconveniently tidal.

The geese waddling around like a security guard made my day. Unleashed dogs swimming in the sea, children skimming stones, canoes floating, and people propelling themselves through the beach was like a movie set that I’ve been thrown into, so I watched this beautiful movie scene live.

There are couple of eateries at the beach where you can have some drinks and bites.

You pay a very reasonable rent to secure a sun-bed by the entrance.

One of the most unique features of this beach is the constantly cold water, thanks to the underwater springs. Even during the hottest days, it feels refreshing here! At the edges of the beach, you’ll find rocks and large boulders where you can safely jump into the sea—there are always people keen to give it a try.

On the beach itself, there are a few laid-back cafes where you can rent a sunbed or order something tasty—food, coffee, or cold drinks are brought right to your spot, so you can truly relax and not worry about anything. If you’re into activities, there are kayaks for rent and you can set off on a little sea adventure right from the shore. As evening comes, the beach gets especially cozy: it’s lovely to sit by the water for dinner, watch the sunset, and just relax to the sound...

One of the crystal clear beach around Kaş. Wasn't expecting that to be honest. There are a lot of café like places so you can feed yourself. They have this system, every cafe have their own sunbed and if you buy something from them, you can use their sunbeds for free and the prices were normal comparing a touristic place like this. I've paid 35 lira for a latte and it is even more inside the kaş so it is totally fine. (This price valid at May 2022). Also underwater life amazed me, a lot of fish schools and mid-range variety of fish. You can shoot very nice underwater footage there. Tldr; Crystal clear sea for swimming and nice cozy...
