The location (although a bit isolated, nothing can be reached by foot) and architecture of the hotel are great 🌞 but the service is almost non existent 🫠. Such a pity and absolutely not worth the price. We stayed there for 4 nights and wish we would have stayed in a better maintained and managed hotel in the same area (we’ve heard great things about Barbarossa in the same price range / category, or Sol’n Blu which is way less expensive). Room cleaning is disastrous (our feet were covered with black dust after walking a few steps in the room, coffee cups we used one day were left dirty on the next day, on our last day there were simply no towels in the bathroom and we were told the hotel was short of them - only after we called the reception twice they sent towels from their sister hotel Radisson). The overpriced restaurant (with great sea views) served my grilled fish after 1 hour. Staff hardly speaks English. Even « sparkling water » is impossible to get without an online translator. This would of course be ok if this wasn’t marketed and priced as an international luxury hotel. When we checked in we found a gift card in the room for a spa package (peeling, massage, face mask) which my husband booked and was actually false advertising (he only got a massage, which was average). One of the reasons why I chose this hotel was the fact that they mentioned yoga on the website. I wrote an email ahead of my trip which remained unanswered and inquired about yoga class upon arrival, only to be told there was a yoga room but no class. 😅 Last but not least, the private beach didn’t have any sunbeds available for us (2 adults + baby) probably because it also welcomes customers from the Radisson and outside of the hotel. Lots of sunbeds were empty with only a towel on them so they might have actually been available but the staff is so overwhelmed and helpless they didn’t bother to check. We wanted to have lunch and see if sunbeds would be available later but then the staff told us the restaurant only served frozen food. 🤷🏻♀️
We were so enthusiastic when we first arrived as the place looks stunning but after 24h of bad experiences one after the other we just fled the place and only used it to sleep and eat breakfast.
Check out edit/ On top of it all, my night dress disappeared on the last day (must have been taken by the poorly trained cleaning team when they changed the bedsheets) which I notified reception about the night before we checked out in order to get it the next morning. The reception team after Night Shift didn’t know anything about it and I just didn’t get my dress back. It was worth more than what we owed so I said I would pay our bill after my dress was sent home. The restaurant manager arrived (as the hotel manager was absent), hold our taxi and threatened to call the police - as if we were in fault. Simply the worst hotel...
Read moreWe travelled in June 2024, the hotel wasn’t too busy but we were lucky to be upgraded from a sea view room to a room with private pool - thank you! Generally we were very pleased with the views and aesthetic of the public areas. Unfortunately there is a lot of room for improvement! Rooms are not pretty but only functional no decor or anything like that hence should be updated. Service is non existent if you do not speak Turkish. Examples: Ordering at the breakfast is impossible without google translate, calling the reception for any questions is not helpfull. It is a turkish breakfast that is very unsatisfying if you don’t like Turkish breakfast. We saw many disappointed faces at the breakfast. To improve a start would be to provide menus with what is available regarding drinks and eggs this would also help with the lack of English! In the next step a different type of breakfast should be implemented, currently it is not suitable for the kind of rooms you are offering and the international guests you are attracting! It is producing a lot of food waste and unhappy customers! Additionally, why are you playing Greek Party music for breakfast? During our 8 night stay we encountered renovation work on the beach area for 3 consecutive days! This is unacceptable as we were not informed which would have given us the chance to plan our trip accordingly and spend time outside during these days. The construction involved closing of one deck and loud noise. Some compensation should have been offered to guests but reception wasn’t even informed about what was going on when asked! It really seems like this hotel is missing a manager holding everything together and thinking from a customer perspective. Examples: Trashed sunbeds visible from the ocean side, trashed metal it the ocean, no menu for non alkoholic drinks at the beach, untrained staff missing routine ( visible at breakfast). Room cleaning was okay but easy things should be improved: Empty the trash cans, change or clean used cups, and only change towels when they are put on the floor!
Generally it is a very pretty hotel with nice view but there is so much room for improvement in service! First step: at least one person in service who speaks English and more...
Read moreThe hotel itself is beautiful, with a fantastic view, but unfortunately, the rest of our experience fell far short of expectations. We stayed for ten nights, and left disappointed.
From the moment we checked in, issues were evident: overhead lights weren’t working, making the room very dark except for bedside lamps. The floor was dirty, leaving black marks on our feet. We were told this would be fixed and cleaned the next morning, but it wasn’t. We had to ask repeatedly for cleaning, only to overhear staff complaining about having to clean the room. This felt completely inappropriate and could have been avoided if the room had been properly prepared and cleaned before our arrival.
Fresh towels were delayed for hours, coming from another branch, which further impacted the quality of our stay. Minibar staff entered the room twice unannounced — an alarming breach of privacy and guest safety.
The breakfast area also fell short of acceptable standards. Plates and cutlery were dirty, and the milk was off — we overheard staff saying it had been left out for a week. This is a serious food safety risk and completely unacceptable.
Throughout our ten-day stay, it was clear that the hotel was significantly understaffed. New staff came and went every day, making it impossible to establish consistency. The staff were clearly exhausted, under-trained, and doing their best despite working long hours and being thrown in at the deep end. This is not their fault — it reflects systemic mismanagement and a lack of support.
A special thank you to the staff who tried their best despite these conditions: Feyza Hanım, Ayşe, Cansu, Emre Abi, Şenol Abi, and Taylan. Their warmth, professionalism, and genuine care were the only bright spots in an otherwise disappointing experience.
In conclusion, while the hotel benefits from a beautiful setting and a handful of dedicated staff, serious issues with cleanliness, maintenance, food safety, privacy, and service standards must be addressed immediately. I sincerely hope the management takes decisive action to fix these failings — for the sake of future guests, and for the hardworking staff who deserve a better environment and proper training to deliver the quality that this...
