i arrived at 1am and left at 3am. there wasn't anyone on reception at both times.on arrival I had to shout very loudly to get someone to come . Also when leaving I was shouting for 10 minutes to get someone to come to reception as they had my battery charger which I had to leave with them as there was only one socket in the room, which was a family room..Apparently all the rooms only have one socket. wouldn't of liked to have had teenagers with me!! Anyway, eventually I found an old man sitting in a dark shop watching something on his phone that was so loud he couldn't hear my cries. Eventually after 20 minutes someone came and I told him that he had caused me so much stress as there was no one there and I was going to put the fact that the reception isn't manned as advertised, and was going to state this fact on trip advisor. He became very angry shouting and swearing at me and telling me to leave the hotel. I kept telling him to be quiet but he carried on shouting /swearing and went to the old man where he continued to shout and swear. I felt very frightened as I was on my own and couldn't wait for the transfer to arrive. ||There is no entertainment , either to watch or participate in. I did Speak with someone from entertainment as a walk was advertised, but he had no interest in doing this, even when I said I would get some people together for this. I was there for 6 days and I saw him.twice. He would sit by the pool bar, and smoke all day. One day he did play some music through the speakers. The food was dreadful. There was salad and on the hot griddle they would fry trout or turkey sllices lunch and evening which was soaked in oil. There was generally rice or chips with this. There wasn't any other hot food, namely vegetables. A couple of the days there was a chicken casserole. I would of gone out to a local restaurant just to get away from the fried grease but there isn't a restaurant within walking distance of an hour , nor a supermarket. The outside area to sit outside the restaurant wasn't cleaned. the floor was washed but tables not wiped. After 3 days i spoke with thee manager about this especially as the cats would sit on them. The manager wanted to argue the fact the tables were cleaned until I showed him where I had sat and the food /drink stains which I had left, so he did get someone to wipe the tables. He wouldn't however clean the ashtrays . They were emptied but the smell of stale Ash sat inside them and I would have to move the ashtray that smelled and then have to eat with the smell on my hand. He wouldn't budge on this, and throughout my stay the ashtrays remained dirty. There was no service in the restaurant. You got your own drinks from the bar, and I had to get my cutlery from a table inside. If you didn't get things in order the cats would eat your food if you didn't watch it. This happened to me and I had to get my food 3 times. I had hurt my knee at this time and walking was slow and painful. The manager approached me as he saw me at the grill for the 3rd time..I explained that if there was some service I wouldn't of had to keep coming to replace my food. He told me that I should sit inside and went on to say that everyone knew me in the hotel as I was the only bloody Engllish person drinking champagne. He was so derogatory towards me and rude that I cried. I'm not used to this behaviour. I went and spoke to the manager and explained and the last night I went to the restaurant, someone got me a drink, my food was carried to the table which was finally laid up with cutlery, ashtray removed and a place mat. what a shame such service wasn't there throughout. I couldn't eat any of the desserts and I'm a real dessert person. They didn't have much taste and we're solidified with gelatine. There wasn't any lovely baklava etc. There were always Apple and oranges but you couldn't cut either with a knife as the knives were blunt. I would never go back to this hotel again. The hotel opposite in comparison, had entertainment and was full of people. I will mention i was the only person drinking champagne as all the wine was dreadful. It had advertised champagne so again i asked for this which was agreed by the manager when i showed him it was advertised on booking.com. I drank 3 bottke during my stay whixh was borrowed from the hotel oppersite. The bottle would move from the pool bar to the restaurant which would of meant a nember of staff would have to get it. clearly this was an issue for the restaurant manager, hence his rudeness towards me. I had to put fresh orange in it to make it taste a little nicer. Apparently this isnt normally available. This hotel has about 90 percent...

Ok after reading the reviews I was sceptical and worried (only had a couple of weeks to book it as original travel company had gone into administration thus we lost our accomodation.
Maybe those complaining were expecting Savoy Hotel experiences, also we found that the majority of the guests were Russian and in such were very rude and arrogant and didn't treat the staff with any kind of respect - it was horrid to see to be honest.
Good things - No idea what everyone is going on about - the food was really nice, yes it was chicken most days of some sort but it was fresh - the BBQ was fired up every couple of days, the nan breads were baked fresh, always Pasta and Sauce of some kind, amazing fresh Salad every day, fresh fruit and home made desserts, always 2 soup on offer. Yes it was repetitive but you had choices, you didn't have to have the same stuff each day it was your choice. Breakfast - again take your pick, pancakes, fried eggs, french toast then all the sides, continental breads, yoghurt, fruit. Restaurant manager is a really friendly helpful hardworking organiser. If you have a celebration he will put you out in the verander area, arrange for your own waiters to get drinks etc, dress the tables and supply the cake (they are delicious a well) we had 2 x birthdays, 1 x Wedding Anniversary plus a suprise Engagement when we were there and it was all organised brilliantly. Snacks - Burger of some kind Chicken usually, Onion Rings, Chips or chicken nuggets (I didn't really bother as I didn't feel the need to stuff myself all day).
Reception - Fantastic, friendly very willing to help you out by ordering Taxi's or if you want special things like champagne he walks you to the shop and helps you communicate.
Animation - OMG really really good - different each night - starts with kids disco then moves into adults time from foam party, disco, Mr Miramor, Mr & Mrs Miramor and finally Miss/Mrs Miramor also they offered after the inhouse entertainment you could go on an excursion into Kemer for further dancing into the early hours. Daytime had Water Polo, Volleyball, Darts plus a lot more and you have the waterslides in the pool. Special thanks goes to the hard working team who are on call/duty from 1st thing in the morning until the early hours of the next day in some cases.
Never the mad rush to grab a sunbed like you see at some hotels.
Rooms - Basic and functional - mostly twins - fridge - Air Conditioning - If you want your room cleaning and fresh towels etc you put a label on the door if you don't you put the other side out - not rocket science.
Grounds - Beautiful, Green, Lush, Tropical, mazes of walkways between the main building and the rooms poolside.
In House Photographer - Awesome photos and memories made, we did photo shoots in the grounds and also a couple of hours up the road at the beach.
Cannot prise the staff enough - they really could not do enough for you, they worked constantly. The food I could not fault.
THINGS THAT SHOULD BE TAKEN INTO ACCOUNT.
The beach is pebble/shingle The situation of the hotel is a 15 minute drive outside of the nearest town of Kemer. The situation of the hotel is 1hr drive from...
Read moreAn outdated, dirty hotel with cockroaches, a rocky beach and hungry cats. There are more enjoyable hotels in the area for the same price! Stayed for 5 nights, though had seen enough after two.
RECEPTION AND HANGOUT AREAS The reception is neat and stylish to some extent. Though the coaches there are dirty and broken to a point, where the seats have been covered with towels. Ew.
In the main hangout area, there is the main pool with two medium sized waterslides. Behind the main pool, there is a small (around 20cm deep) pool for kids. The swimming area is equipped with stained sunbeds, some reserved by the cats that roam around the area. There is a small garden. Looks-wise it is pleasant, smell-wise there is only one phrase to describe it: cat piss.
Connected to the pool area, is an area that has a crooked ping pong table and a dusty pool table. Both are free to play.
Behind the swimming area, there is a small stage that fits maybe 30 people. Behind the stage, you find outdoor gym equipment and a volleyball field. There is also a small football field with weeds and broken goals.
Downstairs of the second big building, there is a gym equipped with a couple of gym equipment, a sauna and a hamam, all free of charge. The smell there is musty, and the area is dirty. Massage services have to be paid for, of course.
THE BEACH AND THE BEACH BAR A literal joke. You walk to the hotel's beach past some big luxurious hotel's back street, where they do garbage disposal. So, the journey to the beach smells like garbage. At the beach there is no sign that the beach belongs to the hotel. The beach itself is around 7m wide, a rocky strap of land with old, various types of sunbeds. On both sides of the "beach" you can see private beaches of big hotels with fine sand. If anything, the hotel's beach makes you want to swim elsewhere.
The beach bar is literally a metal cage with a table. It is fully self service, with two drink despensers that serve warm drinks, because there is no cooling. No glasses to drink from either, just plastic cups. Avoid at all costs!
STAFF Staff at the reception understand simple English. At the restaurant and bar though, they only seem to understand the most common phrases (eg. thank you) and names of drinks. More than English, the staff seems to speak German and Russian. The room cleaning crew on the other hand, does NOT speak English at all.
The staff was mostly happy and smiley. When we went to the reception to ask for new batteries for our AC-remote, and to let them know our AC was not blowing air, they clearly got irritated though.
It is also noteworthy, that at the bar one day, we noticed a customer have a medical emergency (I am a registered nurse by trade). When we told the staff about it, they laughed it off. After checking in on the customer, and asking the staff to call and ambulance for them, the manager told us they would not call an ambulance, because their reputation would suffer. Instead, the customer was moved into their room in a sunbed...
