Four Points by Sheraton Izmir — Hotel in Konak

So nice and clean, the staff is really kind and helpful. They try their best to provide our requests. Hotel food is also nice and tasty. You can it in the restaurant and also you can order to your room. Air conditioning is working so well.

Our room had a balcony. I didn't know why in the booking they wrote everywhere they don't have it. I think they need to update this mistake. Because they have nice and big balcony.

If you pay more they have sea view rooms also. We had that it's nice sunset you can see.

You can find iron and safe boxes, desks, and chairs, some small refrigerator, and kettle. The shower was also so nice and clean inside that you have shampoo, condition, and bodywash, They gave you towels and soup and a toothbrush and toothpaste and many more.

The big problem is parking during working day it's so hard find place to park. They don't have a special place for guests to park. Just one parking near there if you find a free place you can park there.

The taxi station is so close to the hotel. Pharmacy and a few shops are near the hotel. Also some restaurants and coffeehouse.

In 5 min walking you can arrive at the one very small shopping center.

It's a totally fine...

The hotel is situated in a very difficult area to reach. Normal GPS app like: Waze, Google Maps, or Maps have a difficult time getting you to this location. Do not open the address directly from the BonVoy app either. This will lead you to another site as well. Best thing to do once in town is not to take the highway or you will end up going in circles attempting to find the entrance. The parking situation is a bit difficult as well. They share their parking with other businesses and sadly their are no reserved spots for the hotel. When we arrived we were instructed to look for parking elsewhere because the parking garage was full. The staff even suggested that we parked on the streets. This was clearly not an option given that there was no real area to park near the hotel that would be deemed safe. If you’re there, you’ll know what I mean. Once we checked in, the staff was fairly cold and quick. Not the warm and inviting environment I’ve experienced at other Marriott BonVoy properties. Overall, I expected a little more, but at minimum it provided a clean and somewhat comfortable room. Would I stay here again?...

Clean, cozy room and for the price it is an excellent value. We had one mishap in that the soap and shampoo dispenser that is attached to the shower wall became unglued and fell on my 4-year-old daughter’s head. She was slightly hurt, but nothing serious and the hotel management was quick to help and even offered to send us a doctor, which we didn’t feel was necessary. However, the main problem is that these dispensers should be screwed into the wall, and not just glued and this needs to be addressed.

Our stay was otherwise fine, and the only wish would be that the level of English of the staff was better. Apart from the manager, it was impossible to be able to communicate with the others at the front desk. The restaurant staff at breakfast was top notch, they spoke good english and provided excellent service.

Overall I would recommend this hotel, they are working hard and I'm sure the small problems will...
