I haven't been on vacation for more than 4 years, so we spent a lot of time choosing a hotel and paid the most attention to reviews. Reviews have never let me down so much in my life, and we made a terrible choice.||It seemed to me that 5 days for a vacation was very little, but thanks to this premium hotel I realized how much it is...||||I have been to different hotels, different cities and countries. In the last month alone, I have stayed in 8 different hotels, so you can safely trust my review and use my experience to make the right choice.||||I will start with the fact that for this price you can choose a much better hotel. Secondly, hotels that cost exactly 2 times less provide identical services and are in no way inferior to Kirman.||This hotel is not a premium hotel, even approximately, it is a solid 4 stars. No more.||||My further description will be very detailed and I will pay attention even to those things that I usually turn a blind eye to, but when a person is already irritated, literally every flaw begins to catch the eye. ||The devil is in the details and the details in this hotel demonstrate its low quality and unworthiness of its status.||||The hotel is new, so it has a wonderful modern renovation, with beautiful rooms. There is good wi-fi throughout the hotel. What was really wonderful was the bed! As one of the deputy managers pointed out: You see! At least you liked something!||At least something...That's true.||The gym is simply available. Several treadmills do not make the gym sporty and clearly do not meet the standards of premium quality.|||| The sea is 400 meters away, I don't mind walking or taking their tram to the sea, but I don't see any point, because the beach is 50 meters away. The entrance to the sea is in the immediate vicinity of the prohibited zone due to the fact that there are sports motor boats there. The beach looks as unkempt as possible, if you see this beach, then it is the face of the hotel.||We had windows overlooking the sea, but some of the guests had windows overlooking the garbage dump. We discovered this when we went for a walk in the evening and passed by garbage dumps that smell incredibly.||||After arriving and having a pleasant experience with the room, we went down to the pool, bars and sweets floor. I decided to start with the main one and try a cake, but I had to choose at random, because no one knows about any of the ingredients of the cakes. Who would eat a cake without any ingredients? We need to get some coffee! But the bad news is, the coffee machine is broken, so we need to go to another bar. Well, at another bar they told us that there is no ice, and the milk for coffee is actually on another floor. So, having assembled this constructor from coffee, ice and milk, you can sit on the terrace and enjoy your trophy.||||When we told this story to the head of personnel, he tried to say that in fact the machine was not broken and in general, what is there to complain about, because as a result we still got coffee. Hurray!||||Let me remind you, premium.||||Kitchen. Absolutely normal food. I can't describe it in any way, except as "normal". So many reviews about the incredible choice and taste, and as a result, they offered kebab and doner for the Turkish evening. That's all Turkish cuisine, right? It was a pity about the tuna, it was so dry..died for nothing.||Many dishes were completely tasteless, which was just a shock to me. Because why cook such a thing and how many products you just threw in the trash, wasting a lot of the owner's money.||At the distribution, something is constantly running out and the chef himself can answer you that he did not expect so many guests, so the food is running out. So I will not be able to eat something because I arrived a little later than the start? It is nice to know that the saying: who gets up early, so God gives - is international.||||The tables are dirty and unserved, because there is only one waiter on the entire terrace, from whom sweat is simply dripping because of how fast he is trying to keep up, but physically cannot (video, where you can see only 1 waiter at the beginning). The funniest thing is still the conversations with the chefs, because when we pointed out that someone should be sent to the terrace, he replied: there is another girl waiter there, you just didn't notice her. You'd better keep quiet, honestly...||||It was already our last day, so the senior waiter (there are more managers than employees in this hotel. Maybe that's the problem?) came up to us and asked if we were okay. To which I pointed my hand at the guests who were standing at the table with plates in their hands and waiting for the table to be cleared so they could sit down. If this is normal for a hotel of this level, then tell me about it.||||By the way, since dinner service closes at 9:00 PM, that's it, you won't find any food until morning, which is also surprising for the level the hotel claims.||||Day two. "Please make some water with lemon." The bartender pours water and takes a lemon with his hand and throws it into a glass. "Make some, please." The answer: "My hands are clean," - with these words he puts the water on the bar counter.||Breakfast: we go up to get drinks ourselves because, as I already mentioned, there is not enough staff. "Please make some water with lemon." "The lemon is gone." Once again, this is a bar in the breakfast area, where there is a whole bowl of lemons literally opposite. Okay, we'll go and get some ourselves.||Premium, right?||The situation at the ice bar repeats itself, you need to go through the same quest.|| If you want to get something at the bar, first wait until the waiter speaks on the phone.||||I also want to warn you, if you see that there are guests who walk with branded hotel bags, and you don’t have one, go to the reception, they will give it to you.||||Evening of the same day. Terrace. We took coffee and look into the black distance. There is practically no animation in the hotel, so you can listen to the crickets. A kind of 60+ vacation. At some point, the waiter comes out to the girls at the next table with vodka, which the girls didn’t order. One of the girls said that she had had enough, to which the waiter began to encourage her to drink and promise to take everyone to the best disco in the city after the shift. Since the girl was not very sober anyway, it was easy to persuade her. They drank. After which I heard the girls commenting on her condition, such as how she was completely drunk and needed help getting to her room.||||The next day we were called to the head of personnel. On the same day (day 3) we asked for our room to be cleaned. What does cleaning include for you? Changing towels and making the bed? Because that's all that was done. The shower gel ran out - you have to call the reception separately and ask. In this hotel, the entire service is built on the principle: ask and we will give it. Since I saw a gel cap lying alone on the floor in the shower, I realized that no one does such cleaning. When the bed was made, they simply put all the pillows and the bathrobe on the chair and put the blanket on top.||The mini bar was also empty, at least the water could have been replenished, right, a premium class hotel?||By the way, about the room: there are no hangers in the wine room, even the bathrobe has to be put on the floor because where else? Shower gel is not in a dispenser, but in tubes that are inconvenient to open and put on.||||On this wonderful day, while I was getting out of the shower and sitting at the table (which is located opposite the door) in one cape, there was a knock on the door and the door was immediately opened. I just had time to ask: who is it? Immediately with the answer "housekeeping" a woman entered the room, and the fact that I did not have time to let her in was nothing. She opened the door completely, locking it open while I was sitting opposite the same door almost naked.||||With these impressions, we went to the meeting. The reaction of the head of personnel was priceless: you have been here for 3 days, only 2 left. Let's pretend that all this did not happen, we will cancel all unpleasant emotions and I guarantee that from this moment on, you will receive the best service.||Spoiler: we did not receive it.||||In the evening, we found the assistant to the hotel chief, told all of the above. Oddly enough, he did not know anything about it. He said that he would talk to the chief and return with an answer.||||Day 4. I was alone all day, because my husband was constantly called for negotiations, as if we had come not to rest, but to hold a seminar. To this remark, one of the deputies said that these conversations are very useful for them and improve their service. If our wasted day of rest is useful to you, then we are waiting for our salary.||||On this day, a complete surprise began. Employees constantly approached us and asked if we were okay, completely ignoring other guests. These approaches became so frequent that they simply began to annoy.||But additional staff appeared everywhere. Why would that be, I wonder.||When my husband was called for another meeting, and I went up to the room, a surprise of towels was waiting for me on the bed (photo). At the same time, they put the blanket in the closet where my personal belongings are, moving my things to another shelf so that the blanket could fit. Seriously?.. That is, hanging a bathrobe - no, putting a blanket, moving my things - yes.||||I went to the balcony, sitting there, when at some point I heard the front door slam. What was my first thought: someone entered the room. I looked carefully and quietly, and on the table there were fruits, chocolate and nuts (photo). I could hardly hear the knock, even if it was there, but I was uncomfortable.||||During the negotiations, we were constantly offered to visit the a la carte (as if we were hungry), we were given another visit, but we didn’t use ours anyway and planned it for the last evening in the hotel. And in general, the a la carte, which works only 3 hours a day, is not a premium either.||||Day 5. My husband received a message from the lady responsible for communicating with guests with an invitation to their spa and the possibility of a late check-out.||||We accepted the invitation, because to somehow compensate for our spoiled vacation.||||Meanwhile, the staff, including the chefs, are running everywhere. My dears, this should have been the case from the start, without our reminder.||||It’s time for our a la carte visit. Fear God to call it a restaurant or anything else besides a dining room. It's worse here than in the common room (photo): there are no windows, you sit like in a dungeon, the waiters are sweating because it's incredibly stuffy, you can really lose consciousness there. We asked to do something about it and for us (!) they opened a window in the far corner. But it's not necessary for us! It's for you too!||In the "restaurant" there are a lot of tables that are full, half of them with children. If you wanted to create a restaurant atmosphere, then make a separate area for families with small children so that everyone is comfortable, or animation for children in a separate area, it's only 3 hours a day.||Food (photo + video). First, cold appetizers, they were ok. I really liked the avocado. Hot appetizers, which I forgot to take a picture of, were 5050. The octopus was tough (the poor animal died such an inglorious death), the risotto was not al dente, it was raw, the pasta with pesto was tasteless, so we added salt/pepper, I liked the pasta with tomato sauce. For the main course: salmon and entrecote. The salmon was good, but the celery and potato pillow was very bitter, and the potatoes were half-raw and incredibly spicy because of the chili pieces. The entrecote was more like roast beef, it was soft in places, the sauce didn't come out. Dessert: Pavlova and panna cotta. Pavlova doesn't even look like Pavlova, but at least it's edible, which you can't say about the panna cotta, which turned out to be just a hard, tasteless jelly.||||Day 6.||Massage day. Breakfast is getting poorer every day. The staff never smiles. We arrived at the spa reception, where we were greeted by a gentleman and a lady who silently led us to a room with 2 massage tables. I asked how you imagine a massage if one of the masters is male? The lady and I went to another room. As I found out later, when asked by the man at the reception, how did you decide that it would be like that. Their answer: we received a message from above that the woman is Ukrainian, and for Ukrainian women it is a normal story when the master is male. Sorry, but you can't expect a more indecent answer.||The massage itself was wonderful. I have no complaints.||At that moment we decided to leave and not wait for the evening. Let me remind you that we were promised a late check-out (at 8:00 PM). At exactly 12:00 we received a call from the reception asking us to vacate the room, otherwise the staff would take our things away. Firstly, for your level of hotel you should come and help with the suitcases, and secondly, what kind of conversation style is that?..||||We talked a lot with the staff during these 5 days.||I can only single out 5 people who work with incredible dedication and care for customers: 2 cleaners (a lady and a gentleman with disabilities), 2 bartenders and the bar manager. Sometimes we came across waiters who were working hard.||||The hotel manager did not contact us at all, which clearly demonstrates the real attitude towards guests in this hotel. Because the most terrible thing is the lack of reaction, unwillingness to fix something and simply shutting up those who are dissatisfied. The fish rots from the head, as they say.||||We are used to getting into terrible situations, but we have never seen such a fiasco...
Read moreWe stayed in room 1647 from 5-13 of August 2023. We were a couple with a 5 years old boy and an infant.
I booked the hotel directly and arranged all flights and transportation myself as the flight time for the package holidays was not suitable for us.
The hotel is 60km away from the Antalya airport and it takes less than 1 hour to reach the hotel. I paid 60 Euro from airport to the hotel and 65 Euro from the hotel to the airport.
We arrived around 9:30pm and they gave us the top floor (6th) to make it easy for our infant to sleep. The room had a king size bed and a single bed, and a very large balcony (roughly 2.5mx4m). The room had walking shower and everything was clean and looked quality. There was a spacious built-in wardrobe with safe box. Overal was very pleased with the room.
The hotel has several outdoor pools. 1- main pool is large with water depth of 1.4m 2- Aqua park (water slides) pool with depth of 1.2m 3- Small aqua park with smaller water slides with water depth of 0.4m 4- infant pool with water depth of 0.25m.
The outdoor pools are not heated. But I found the water temperature extremely pleasant. In the morning it is slight cooler than air and when entering water I found it very refreshing. In the evening it is slightly warmer than air and it make getting to water very nice. My infant baby could stay in the water both in the morning and evening without any swimsuit.
The Aqua park is great and my son spent good portion of each day swimming there. There was always 2-3 life guards monitoring the use of slides. But I feel they were little bit relax as smaller kids using the slides without presence of their parents.
My son also spent good amount of time in the small aqua parks for kids. Sun, heat, water sprayers and water slides made a prefect situation for a playful kid to enjoy the day.
The only issue in using the pools we faced was, if you are late (around 10am and after), it is hard to find a suitable sunbed. We were at the peak of the summer, and I guess outside of school holidays, it should be a less hassle.
Near to the pool, there is a bar serving drinks and also another outdoor place which they offered lunch and also this place was used for children and evening shows.
In the main pool some days they had some entertainments and my son loved the foam spray one.
They play nice selection of Turkish and international music and it was not loud, but pleasant.
I found their coffee and drinks quiet nice.
I was not satisfied only in the food department. Their food for a Turkish 5 star hotel was average at best. I traveled more than 50 times and I feel I have enough experience to compare. I only liked their several different types of soups, freshly made baklava and watermelons. In terms of service, as you expect in Turkey, staffs were extremally polite and tried their best to comfort us. But the number of staff in the restaurant was not enough and we had to wait for them. Increasing the number of staff with 30% may resolve the issue.
Another nice feature of the hotel was, high speed internet. I checked several times of the day the wifi internet speed. During the day the download speed was just shy of 50mbps and in upload speed of 45 mbps which was very useful for me as I could upload some large files.
In the 7-9pm period which is likely that people returning to their room and using the internet, the download speed was between 25-30mbps and interestingly upload speed of 45 mbps.
The wifi coverage around the hotel was excellent.
The guests were from mostly, Belgium, the Netherland, Germany, Poland, Scandinavians and middle east. The environment is quiet liberal.
Overall, it is excellent hotel for families with kids. But might not the ideal place for young adults and food...
Read moreFirst time staying here it’s a nice hotel, quite new and modern in appearance, lobby is absolutely gorgeous in appearance and aroma but more Importantly the rooms are very nice. Most aspects of the hotel are very clean apart from toilets beside main restaurant
We booked direct with the hotel which was meant to have perks of room upgrade, fruit bowls and a breakfast delivered to the room one morning but we never received any of that which was disappointing.
The rooms are very nice, I travelled with my two daughters 3 & 9 so we had the superior room with land view which was the pool. Rooms very clean, as expected, never once turned on tv so no idea what was available channel wise. We had one super king size bed and single pull down bed so was good and very spacious. Fresh towels every day but don’t think we ever had bedding changed which is strange for a 5 star hotel. Mini bar was stocked everyday but sometimes no consistency with what’s replenished. TOP TIP - AC will turn off when you open balcony door so remember to switch back on when back inside room and don’t keep main door open too long as again, AC will turn off, you don’t want to return to a mad hot room which takes forever to cool down. Sitting area and drying area for swimming gear. WiFi was excellent 70-200mbs
Pools. Unfortunately this is a first come first served, so up the crack of dawn reserving sun loungers with towels or personal belongings. So if you want a sun lounger you need to be down before 0700. Not ideal when you rock up to the pool the day after check in totally unaware with two young kids desperate to get in the pool only to find there’s not one chair available so need to set up camp on a ledge in a bush, not ideal at all, yet plenty loungers sit empty all day with towels on them. Very selfish. TOP TIP - spa for towel collection doesn’t open till 7 so reserve your sun loungers with personal belongings, hats, flip flops etc. Note - you will never get a long lie having to do this every day and sooner Türkiye adapt to the Mexican way of removing items from loungers and stopping people reserving them the better and fairer for everyone. Pools are excellent though with plenty activities for all, water polo, foam parties, water slide aqua park, etc. ice cream cones in freezer at pool bar etc are excellent and girls loved them! Pool bar is very decent, bar staff were excellent and serve a lovely iced coffee.
Lobby bar, special mention here - outstanding with the loveliest of bar staff and servers. Cocktails are tremendous in a beautiful setting with piano that plays at night. Highly recommended. Reminded me of Dubai!
Plenty options for food and drink, You can actually eat and drink here 24/7 which is fantastic!
All in all it’s been a very good holiday and a Solid 4/5 rating as was enjoyable but can be improved with toilet inspections, sorting the selfish sun lounger issue and when booking rooms and promising people things such as a breakfast in bed actually following through with it. Breakfast could be better, being selfish and British wasn’t...
