Bistro 2000 Restaurant & Sports bar — Restaurant in Manavgat

Found this place before I headed off to Turkey and nipped in for a pint whilst on a walk.  Asked if they had the rugby on in a few days and they said no problem..  Any sports you want we will do our best to find it.

Went back a few days later and the TV was set up waiting for us.  Had a few beers and some chips for my daughter and it was a great afternoon.  The father-in-law said he wouldn’t mind eating here as the kitchen is open and you can see in it.  It looks spotless.

So we went back and tried it.  I had T-Bone steak and the wife had fillet steak, both served with chips peppercorn sauce and a small side of veggies both we absolutely spot on.  We had a few glasses of wine each and I a few extra beers and cocktails the bill was about £100.  Pretty reasonable I thought.

If you are out and about it is definitely a place to stop off in.  the staff are friendly and helpful, the service is spot on too.

We actually went back the next night with the Out-laws and I have to say both the wife and I said the steak was not as tasty as the previous night.  That is not to say we did not enjoy the food, we both cleared our plates, but it was busier than the previous night?  The out-laws loved their food and said they wished they had tried it sooner.

Was there last week. Lovely place, friendly staff. Even the lady owner come to our table to talk a little bit. Starters were good, cocktails 🍸 very also nice. Main dishes if we speak about lamb chops and Turkish mix meat platter wear good. Unfortunately this place is called steak house and I ordered well done tomahawk steak (almost 40E) and I got steak that was grilled on a grilled plate or something...it wasn't finished with flame grill od nothing. Steak was rare, maybe medium rare buy definitely not well done...after few bites I give it back and get it back after long time. It was done this time correctly but it was a bit upsetting as people I was with almost finished their food... Because meet is not done under any flame or really high heat is not very good and looks not really tasty. Place is very nice, stuff is friendly and overall I would recommend this place. But I would advise to stick to Turkish food. Its a shame if they put in name "steak house"... In attach picture you can see how the "well done tomahawk steak" looks like....picture taken on...

Visited last in May 2023! Service was amazing. Waiter Isa was very attentive and we never had to wait long for drinks. Great cocktails at this location. They also offer Shisha for 15 Euro ( different tastes to choose from). Several waiters made sure to ask if we had any more wishes. Their food is good. I ordered filet mignon and it was delicious. The combination pizza with suck was so so. On Thursdays they play German Schlager but other days they play mixed music, English , Turkish and German. They have a few TV’s and keep track with the soccer lights and games. Super crowded if they play soccer games. I can only recommend this place . Every time we are in Kumköy Beach we visit and they have never...
