Our stay at Febeach Hotel Side was disappointing and did not meet our expectations for a 4-star hotel. The room was okay, but nothing special, which we didn't expect differently. However, we encountered a problem with the baby cot we needed. When it was delivered, it had a strong smell of mold. We had to leave it outside for several days to get rid of the smell, while our baby had to sleep between us.
The condition and cleanliness of the room were acceptable, but it lacked modernity and comfort. In addition to the other inconveniences we have already mentioned, this was another annoyance that affected our experience at Febeach Hotel Side.
The customer service left much to be desired. Only one waiter was friendly and attentive, so we always sat where he served. However, we had difficulty getting water at certain times. When we asked for a glass of water, we were led to the kitchen, where we were given a glass of tap water. The waiters at the pool bar were terrible. They didn't understand a word and were very unfriendly. After a guest criticized one of the waiters, he disappeared into the kitchen for a long time.
The food was the only thing I can positively rate. Everything that was cooked was delicious, but there was a lack of variety. The fruit was always the same, and watermelon was only available for dinner. In other hotels I've been to before, you could get watermelon anytime and anywhere. Ice cream was offered only once and was not free, which is absurd considering it was supposed to be all-inclusive. Even for freshly squeezed juice, you had to pay extra. Besides, the alcoholic drinks contained no alcohol. If you looked closely, you could see that all the small bottles were already opened, probably to dilute them. That was very disappointing.
Furthermore, we felt that some facilities were presented that didn't actually belong to the hotel. For example, the beach volleyball court was non-existent. There were a few public courts, but none of them belonged to our hotel. The staff for sports and outdoor activities showed little interest, and it seemed like they didn't care if anyone participated in the activities. In other hotels, they would constantly walk along the beach and pool area, inviting guests to join them. Here, I didn't even notice when these activities took place.
The beach area was also disappointing. Very dirty and full of large rocks that I stumbled upon countless times, hurting my toe. In the end, we moved to a different beach to enjoy the sandy beach and clean water.
Overall, we were very disappointed with our stay at Febeach Hotel Side. The negative experiences with the baby cot, customer service, alcoholic drinks, facilities, and the beach did not meet our expectations for a...
