We will start by saying a big thank you to the Hotel staff during our recent stay. We had 10 days here and loved it. but it was the Staff that really make this a great Hotel. Food was great quality, the chefs really work hard to make it varied and a good choice each day. There's no reason for anyone to say they couldn't find anything to eat (unless they're really fussy or typically British wanting full English breakfast or roasted dinners) Let's face it, we came on holiday to experience Turkey and that includes the food. You want English food, go to Spain..lol Desserts, salads, cold cheese and meats, soup and pool snacks available all the time... loved it.
On arrival (we got in at 3am due to delays) Reception.. we were greeted by Mete, very friendly, polite and helpful.. who immediately offered us tea/coffee/beer/wine with Burger & chips if we were hungry.. excellent!!👏
First morning we were greeted by Ivan.. such a lovely guy, very willing and enthusiastic about the hotel, could not help enough, gave us a guided tour, explained the facilities and throughout the holiday, was always checking everybody was OK and happy.. The go to guy if you have a problem.👍🏻 speaks 15 languages!! He also shows you where you can collect your Sunbed towels from the spa area.
Pool.. Nice size swimming area, one level 1.9mtr with ladders, steps and a slightly shallow lounging end if wanted. Very clean, daily swept both pool and surrounding area, all washed down. Toilets as well, Pool staff work so hard keeping it all clean and tidy.
Pool side bar.. Again clean and tidy and run by the happy enthusiastic staff.. top bar man Ahmed and the team always checking you poolside for drinks which they happily bring to your sunbed. 👍🏻
Restaurant.. As I mentioned, the food is lovely. The service is just as good.. Waiters like Umut, Ejdar, Baris, Ugur all so helpful, polite, friendly and great fun to have around.. all willing to help take your food to your table, supply with drinks and promptly clean away as soon as you are finished.
Spa.. We had a oil & salt scrub with Turkish bath and massage.. the girls were lovely friendly. There's a sauna and steam room, showers all available.. recommend a visit to use the Spa. See Ivan for deals on packages. Hairdressers.. Here you can have a variety of services for the ladies, various hair treatments etc.. I had two of the Turkish shaves (£4-£5) ears, nose, eyebrows etc.. Real treat for the gents.
Bedrooms.. Nice size, all rooms have balconies. Fresh towels and bed linen every two days, Room is cleaned daily and swept throughout. Each room has fridge (stocked with soft drink and water (first lot free), air conditioning, safe lock up, hair dryer, TV, toiletries supplied, tea & coffee making facilities, complementary bottle of wine on arrival. Free hotel WiFi
Beach.. The hotel has its own allocated beach area. The beach is clean, safe and staffed. Not deep and you can walk out safely and easily for quite a distance. The staff offer sunbed service, drinks and food brought you your sunbed from the hotel snack bar. Pizza, burgers, chips, ice cream and drinks etc.
Other facilities: Coffee bar (24hrs service) Snack bar daily between 10.30am - 6.30pm Internet room for business Pool table and darts nearby to snack bar
In all, a lovely hotel, made all the more special by the staff team.
OK, that's the good bit.. As with everything there is always a downside.. but it doesn't take away from the service and cleanliness of the hotel.
Downsides..Surrounding hotels and bars. Sadly the hotel is located between loud bars and hotels at night which spoil things slightly. One side you have the very loud "Shake bar" which really gets loud.. should stop around 12am but was known to carry on 1-2 & 3am Sea view balconies have a lovely view only to be blasted at nights by the Casablanca bar till 1am ish..even when the bar is empty. Poolside of hotel, you get the music from the neighbouring hotel, Munantar beach, who throughout the day and night keep varying the volume of their bar which drowns out the...

From the moment we arrived at Elite World Marmaris Hotel, we were completely blown away. This stunning adults-only hotel in Içmeler is the epitome of elegance, comfort, and warm hospitality. Every aspect of our stay was flawless – from the food to the spa, to the incredible team who made us feel so welcome and special.
A Thoughtful Anniversary Surprise: One of the most touching moments of our trip came as a complete surprise. We were celebrating our third wedding anniversary, and the housekeeping team noticed our anniversary cards while cleaning the room. Without us mentioning anything, they arranged for our room to be beautifully decorated and surprised us with a bottle of wine, a fresh fruit platter, and a delicious cake. It was such a thoughtful gesture that genuinely moved us and made the day even more memorable. This level of care and attention is something we will never forget.
Hotel & Facilities: The hotel itself is absolutely stunning – beautifully decorated, spotlessly clean, and well cared for in every way. The overall vibe is calm and luxurious, with every detail designed to create a relaxing and enjoyable stay. Whether you're unwinding by the pool, enjoying a drink at the bar, or relaxing in your room, there's a sense of peace and effortless style throughout the entire hotel.
Food & Themed Evenings: The food was phenomenal every single day – fresh, varied, and always delicious. What really stood out were the themed nights with live music:
Turkish Night on Tuesday
Asian Night on Wednesday
Gala Night on Friday
Each evening brought something new and exciting, with a festive atmosphere and amazing live performances. Dining at Elite World Marmaris felt like an event in itself.
Service with Heart: The staff here truly go above and beyond. A very special mention goes to Ozay and Saygın in the restaurant. These two were always smiling, incredibly attentive, and somehow managed to have our drinks topped up before we even asked. Their friendly and professional service added so much to our experience.
Also, a big thank you to the two gentlemen who maintain the pool area and grounds. They were constantly ensuring the space was clean, tidy, and relaxing – always working hard behind the scenes with a friendly attitude. The pool area is absolutely spotless and such a beautiful place to spend the day.
Heavenly Spa Experience: We treated ourselves to a 50-minute massage at the spa, and it was one of the highlights of the trip. The spa is immaculate and peaceful, and the massage was simply incredible – deeply relaxing and expertly done. It left us feeling completely refreshed and pampered. If you’re staying at the hotel, don’t miss this!
Final Thoughts: Elite World Marmaris is, without a doubt, one of the best hotels we’ve ever stayed in. The perfect combination of luxury, exceptional service, amazing food, and thoughtful details made this an unforgettable holiday. Our wedding anniversary was made extra special thanks to the kindness of the staff – something we will always remember with gratitude.
Thank you to the entire team for making our stay so wonderful. We’re already counting down the days until we can return. If you’re thinking of booking – do it! You...
Read moreStaff were "simply the VERY best" Sept 2022 Travelling with Jet2. We had booked a "deluxe double room with sea view". The Room turned out to be Adjacent to stairs/lift. It had a Great sea view, but was a VERY small room, (a reasonable single) and had hopelessly Inadequate clothes storage for 14 days. 🤣😂. We used the room's fire escape plan drawing, and it appeared other rooms looked bigger. We complained, and were eventually shown and accepted a bigger room, unfortunately still with hopelessly inadequate wardrobe/drawers! 🤣🤣 (One more drawer). However, It looked like a super king bed, and was very comfy 👌. The rooms are modern, c/w air con and a SMALL Balcony, with a small drying rack. The Bathroom has all you need, incl a walk-in shower, with flexi hose and overhead spray, both with very good pressure, flow rates and temperature. A shaving mirror and an electric shaver point. TV, only has the minimum English speaking channels. #Hotel Staff are BRILLIANT all VERY helpful, friendly and are this hotel's BIGGEST asset. #Restaurant had both Inside and outside areas. Buffet style. Also, fresh/hot food area and never short of tables, thanks to the staff. The restaurant had No apparent dress code. The restaurant is where the only entertainment took place, during dinner, 3 times a week…during the evening meal. #Food, was tasty, good choice, hot and/or cold. There is an a la carte, but we didn't need to use it. Well done too the chef's. #Drink, mostly included, all good. Although they did run out of some spirits? and some "branded" spirits reqd purchase. #The coffee shop (24hrs) is a nice relaxing area, also supplying tea and cake. Having a street outlook, and some nightime entertainment via "Shakes" bar, but no alcohol served. Beach bar, (not on/at the beach) fast food area, with hot/cold drinks, tasty fast food, refreshing and relaxing. Palm bar (pool bar) bit of a let down, open till midnight, but not much lighting, little or no music at all (music on during the day). Short of seating and tables. BIG IMPROVEMENT REQD. The hotel's "one bar" was always closed? AN OPPORTUNITY. #Pool, nice pool, with full facilities. Ladders and/or steps entry/exit. Max depth 1.5M. The area can be busy, meaning sunbeds may not be available, some "towels on beds" but no people. Staff did bring out more beds, unfortunately then making the area more congested. #Cleanliness, well maintained areas throughout, rooms cleaned daily to good standard. #Lift x 1, to 5 "roomed" floors 1 x lobby/reception floor and 1 x Spa floor. Each roomed floor has approximately 18 bedrooms. Flr 1-5: rooms 001 to 006 Side street view (shakes bar noisey, till about 1am.) Flr 1-5: 007 to 014 sea view, Flr 1-2: 011 to 014 (restricted sea view, by Casa Blanca Hotel. F1-5: 015 to 018 Hotel main road/entrance view. #WiFi, ok, but having to constantly reconnect. #Taxi boat, Icmeler to Turunc 75TL one way, approx 40mins. #Dolmus/local bus, still brilliant at this time 10TL pp, one way. #Marmaris dancing fountains worth a visit, entertainment for free. We felt the hotel & its facilities fell short, on/of those advertised facilities. Not our first...
