Belenus Cave House — Hotel in Mustafapaşa Köyü

I chose this hotel largely because of the pool in the room. And i did enjoy that but it was very difficult to breatheas there was no ventilation in the room. It smelled very musty.|The innkeepers were not helpful, providing no information on the room itself or even how to access the town. |Their hospitality was very poor. They do not even say good morning when you go to breakfast.|I would not reccommend this hotel unless you speak Turkish and don’t mind smoking. People smoke even in the enclosed room where breakfast is served. |We did not enjoy the breakfast. Fried potatoes our first morning looked good but on eating we realised the potatoes were green. Lots of cheese, olives, tomato and plain white bread. Uncooked oatmeal and an awful tasting dry cereal were available.|No air conditioning. Room only had one stading fan which, given there was no ventilation, was not sufficient.|Definitely way overpriced for the service and hospitality given.|When we checked in our room had not been properly cleaned. A large wad of red hair in the bathroom sink drain, used bandaid on rte floor by my bed, bathroom mirror dirty with hair stuck on it, bathroom sink was so dirty I washed and cleaned it myself wirh my hand sanitiser.|Some days they did not clean the roomat all, despite complaints when they did not do it after the first night.|You have to climb a lot of stairs to get to the roof terrace where b/fast is served.|No one is ever at the reception desk. I would have to yell up to the roof to get someone, and very rarely did that work.|Only two small yogurt-sized containers of water were inthe room. They were not...

Following my husband's (Lovish) comment earlier, I would like to express myself as well. I will start by the warm welcome we got from Mrs. Nevin and Mr. Mehmet. I have to say that I already miss them. They made us feel a sense of belonging. They were willing to help at any moment. One time we were returning to the hotel and they were both at door waiting for us just like a mother and father would do. I was very sad to leave such good company. We were amazed by the level of kindness. What to say about the hotel, it was like a dream. I will never forget those 4 days spent in that gorgeous room. Mrs. Nevin and Mr. Mehmet are two truly kind hearted person. We were amazed by the hospitality and desire to help. We needed a sim card and Mr. Mehmet without hesitation proposed to drop us at a simcard shop and to pick us later. We lost the key to our room but Mrs. Nevin was totally understanding ! She without any hesitation got us a double key with a big smile. We checked in late around 23:00 p.m and Mr. Mehmet came knocking at our door with cakes and juice. What a kind gesture !
