Kardes Hotel — Hotel in Osmangazi

From check in to check out a wonderful experience. Staff were very friendly and warm. It was truly a pleasure to be a guest there. Reception spoke very good English and many of the staff knew enough to make it easy to communicate. Rooms were cleaned daily or upon request.

The room itself was cozy with and contained soap, shampoo and body wash in eco-friendly refillable dispensers. There was also a single use toothbrush as well as sewing kit and shoe cleaner. The bed was comfortable and linens adequate. My only slight critique is the internet could be extremely slow which can cause a problem if you're working while traveling.

Breakfast was served cafeteria style because of COVID-19 safety measures. A selection of sausage, cheese, fresh fruits and bread were offered as well as çay and coffee.

Kardes Hotel is located about a 3-minute walk from the metro and is also near buses going to the bus station as well as the tram. In addition, it is about a 10-minute walk to some of the most famous sites of the city. The staff were very friendly and rightfully proud of their large buffet on the top floor, where you can look out over the city if you so please. It's not the most beautiful area, but it is safe and the rooms are quiet. My room was small but clean. Kardes is a very functional hotel for who wants to stay in Bursa some days without spending so much money.
