Trying Iskender kebab at Uludag Kebapcisi was an experience like no other—something I’d never had before. It was our first day in Bursa, and my cousin, the only one of us who’d tried it before, brought us here. We were a group of 10 friends, none of whom had ever tasted it. When the plates of Iskender kebab arrived, we thought the portions looked small and doubted they'd be enough to fill us up. But once we started eating, we quickly realized that one plate is more than enough for one person seriously, lolllzzzz 😄 No doubt, the taste was incredible, like a taste of heaven,,, so good I can still remember it vividly. Each plate was 520 Turkish lira, so our total was 5200 TL, making it the priciest meal of our Turkey road trip, but absolutely worth it! The restaurant itself has a nice location and is partially ♿accessible, which is a plus.

We had the chance to visit the authentic shop while our road trip with my family. The food is , hands down , amazing. Best iskender kebap that i’ve tried . All the ingredients are high quality . Everything tastes great. And the authenticy of the historic shop is great as well. If you are looking for a luxury shop , this is not the place. But if you like authentic places , that is it. The chance to feel the authenticy of a famous dish’s bornplace was great for us. We liked everything about it to be honest. We will definitly visit again when we are back to Bursa. Highly recommended.

Taste is amazing. The masters behind this amazing taste are raised by the founder of iskender kebab, Iskender Iskenderoglu. Their difference is that they don’t keep their meat in the freezer like the other restaurants do. Thus, you get the fresh meat cooked up and brought to you. They are always busy and full but if they cant get you a seat inside, they find seats in neigbour stores. Service is good and friendly. It was the very first time that my 5 year old son ate his first iskender kebab so the place is also special to us. Definetly recommended.

Yine tavsiye üzerine öv öv bitirilemeyen yerlerden birisi. Eski bir sokak sağı solu yedek parça satan esnaf ile çevrili. Belli ki zamanında esnafın yemek yediği bir yer. Esnaf lokantası demek uygun fiyat ve hakkını veren lezzetli yemek. Küçük köhne bir dükkan ama yandaki diğer küçük dükkanlarda da masa atmış oralara da servis yapıyor. Bir altındaki çaycıdan bozma etrafı 1970 lerden kalma fayans döşeli daracık dükkan, onun altındaki baklava tatlı vs satan yer ve üst tarafındaki kestane şekeri satan dükkan. Hepsinde iskender yiyebilirsiniz. İskenderi gazlı ocakta değil kömürde yapıyorlar bu güzel. Öncelikle dışarıda oturmak için sıra bekliyorsunuz, sonra da içeride siparişinizin gelmesi için. Beklerken sahibi olduğunu düşündüğümüz dayı gelip siparişi aldı ve burada daha önce iskender yemediyseniz hiç iskender yememişsinizdir minvalinde birşeyler söyledi. Beklenti iyice yükseldi haliyle. Sonuç etin lezzeti yok, üzerine gezdirdikleri tereyağı ne koku ne tad itibari ile tereyağı gibi değil, markette daha iyisini bulursunuz. Kötü diyemem ama ödediğinizi, beklediğinizi, gittiğiniz yolu hayatta karşılamayan bir yer. Şimdilerde her avm de bulunan “bay döner” daha ulaşılabilir, daha ekonomik ve daha mütevazi. 2 adet 1,5 porsiyon ve 1 adet de 1 porsiyon, 1 şerbet ( osmanlı şerbeti midir nedir. Ne tadı var ne kokusu) 1 ayran 2 su toplam 235 TL. Üstelik porsiyonlar küçük. Son olarak diğer yerel rehberlerin yorumlarına da göz gezdirdim de fotoğraf dikkatimi çekti. Bize gelen porsiyon ekte başka bir müşteriye geleni de kendisi paylaşmış. Göz var nizam var aynı mı ?

This is not the original Uludağ kebapçısı. That one is across the street a few minutes of walk from the mall. This one is located at the entrance of the mall, and it also only serves İskender kebab. The kebab itself is average but price is higher than average. Meat was dry and they bring the dish with melted butter already added. Traditionally, butter should be served hot after the dish is brought to the table, and based on the preference of the customer.
