Buyukada Elisa Butik Otel — Hotel in Prince Islands

My friend and I decided to escape our very busy and fast-paced İstanbul life for a weekend, and let me just say I wish I stayed at Elisa Butik Hotel for a week! The place is clean, the rooms carefully decorated and I just loved the wood and Island concept. We stayed on the top floor, with the view of the sea and at night the lights from the city was magnificent! The receptionist asked us about our plans, and when we said we wanted to go swimming, he directed us to one of the family beaches, let's just say we loved it there too. The next morning we had breakfast in the backyard, it was so quite and peaceful, the breakfast table set with everything I love about Sunday breakfast, their fruit jam and marmalades were even home made! The hotel staff was very kind in accomodating my request for a room with a beautiful view. The room was perfectly clean. The bedding was clean and smelt nice. My only complaints would be the bathroom's condition - it smelt mouldy and damp, and constantly had a lingering smell. There isn't proper ventilation in the bathroom. Besides this, the location is a bit difficult to reach - its quite high up so be ready for a 20 min climb from the downtown. However, the view from the top is definitely worth it. The hotel is very peaceful and the decor, furniture, paintings add to the unique vintage boutique hotel vibe. I would have some body soap or shower gel in the bathroom too. Ben 8-11 Nisan tarihleri arasında konakladım. Hava şartları kötü olduğu için otel oldukça boş ve huzurluydu. Bu sebeple olsa gerek, bahçe manzaralı oda almış olmama rağmen deniz manzaralı oda verildi. Bunun için görevliye teşekkür ediyorum, oldukça hoş bir jest oldu.

Otelin konumu yokuş tırmanmak ya da minibüse sürekli 100 lira basmak istemiyorsanız, size göre olmayabilir. Ama biz yürümeyi seven bir çift olarak bunu sorun etmedik, spor olarak gördük. Kendimize haritanın söylediğinden daha kısa ve yokuşsuz bir kestirme yol bile bulduk, 10 dakika sürüyor. Yakınlarda market ya da restoran pek yok, merkeze yürümeniz gerekiyor. Yemeklerinizi otelde yiyebilirsiniz, biz her şeyimizi merkeze inerek hallettiğimiz için otelin yemekleri için yorum yapamayacağım. Tesisin sevimli ve nostaljik bir atmosferi var. Ben oldukça sevdim.

Üst kattaki terasa bakan odalardan birinde kaldık. Odanın boyutu oldukça makul, zaten ödediğim fiyata da (₺3350) daha fazla bir beklentim yoktu. Odada buzdolabı ve su ısıtıcı gibi her otelde olacağını var saydığınız elektronikler yok. Bunu bildiğim için ben yanımda mini boy kettle ve termos çanta götürdüm. Kış aylarında gideceklere sadece teras odaları için küçük bir ipucu: Giysi dolabı duvara gömme ve evin dış cephesine açılıyordu ve içi oldukça soğuktu, buzdolabı gibi kullandım. Oda tahminimden çok daha temizdi. Pis olduğunu varsayarak sildiğim yerler tertemizdi. Dekoratif minik objeler oldukça tatlıydı. Bir masa ve iki sandalye konulmuş, oldukça işimize yaradı. Isıtma ve soğutma için klima var. Klima çok gürültülü çalışıyordu. Hava çok soğuk olduğu için uyurken açmak zorunda kaldık ve sesinden ara ara rahatsız olduk. Yatak süngeri ve yastıklar en büyük şikayetimiz olabilir. 1 gece kalacaksanız idare edebilirsiniz ama bizim gibi 3 gece kalanlar için bel ve boyun sorunları yaşamanız muhtemel. Yatak süngeri ortaya doğru sünmeye başlamış, uyurken istemsiz ortaya kayıyorsunuz. Yastıklar ise çok kalın ve sertti, ikimizin de boynu uyandığımızda oldukça ağrıdı konaklamamız sırasında.

Daha fazla ödeme yapmış olsaydım, beklentilerim çok daha yüksek olurdu ama ödediğim fiyat olumsuz her şeyi kompanse etti bence. Genel olarak çok büyük problem yaşamadığım, uygun fiyatlı, temiz ve huzurlu bir fiyat/performans tatiliydi diyebilirim. Kısa kış kaçamaklarım için tekrar tercih edebilirim ama yaz aylarında...
