South Bank Resort — Hotel in Providenciales

My family just had such a fantastic stay at South Bank resort. From the very beginning when I was just emailing to ask questions, everyone was incredibly kind and responsive, especially Yuniia. I really appreciated how helpful and accommodating she was. When we arrived, Rachel warmly welcomed us and showed us around, and she was just as sweet during checkout too. Breakfast was fresh and delicious every morning with quality options. The service was excellent. Mhajorne the hostess greeted us with such warmth every day. On our first morning, Sarafina took care of us and was so kind and attentive, even during a busy morning. What really stood out was how she remembered what my kids liked days later and checked in to see if I wanted something I forgot to order. I really appreciated that thoughtfulness. Trishan also served us twice, and the second time, he had already brought out our usual drinks and remembered our favorites which was so impressive. Those little touches made us feel genuinely cared for. The beach had quite a bit of seaweed this time, but that’s completely understandable and outside of the resort’s control. They were working hard to clean it up. We still had fun kayaking and paddle boarding at the lagoon. The resort itself was beautiful and peaceful, with a good tennis court, a nice gym, and a pool that was good enough for our little ones. There’s a convenient parking spot right in front of the house, and bicycles were also offered to guests. When we first arrived at the boathouse, we were greeted with a bottle of wine and a kind note from the general manager which was such a lovely welcome. Our three bedroom, 3.5 bathroom boathouse was very spacious, nicely decorated, and had balconies on every floor. Each bedroom had a huge closet, and the kitchen was fully equipped and spotless. Housekeeping did a great job keeping everything clean. It was such a lovely feeling to come back after lunch and dinner and find the house tidied up, beds refreshed, and water thoughtfully placed on each nightstand. Another highlight was that there’s a boat dock right behind the boathouse making it so convenient for the private charter to pick us up. We also enjoyed spending time watching the turtles swimming in the back of the house. There was some construction happening during our stay, but we barely noticed it at all. South Bank was absolutely amazing! My husband planned our trip to Turks and Caicos as a surprise "mini moon" after our wedding, so this is my review as someone who had no clue where we were staying until we showed up!

From the moment we pulled up to the resort, everyone who greeted us was very kind and made us feel so special. My husband booked this resort through Hilton and their partnership with SLH (Small Luxury Hotels) with his Diamond status. His status was recognized immediately and we were thanked as being Diamond members.

Upon arrival, we were given a welcome drink, were greeted by multiple staff members, and sat down in the gorgeous clubhouse with the General Manager, Atilla.

After check in, we were shown to our lodgings, one of the Boathouses, and were given a short tour of the home. Our bags were brought in and up to the master bedroom for us. One staff member, Jaheim, gave us his phone number to Whatsapp in case we needed anything or had any questions. As mentioned before, this trip was our honeymoon, and so the South Bank staff welcomed us with champagne and a beautiful cake decorated with "Happy Honeymoon"

Throughout our stay we had breakfasts and lunches in the Lua restaurant, we played pickleball and basketball at the courts, relaxed at the pool and the lagoon, worked out at the gym, and kayaked around the area. The amenities were fantastic and made us not want to leave and explore the rest of the island!

The entire resort was clean, incredibly comfortable, and overall, so so beautiful! As we were staying there during their first few days of operation, the resort was not very busy, and so we were given fantastic personalized service! I'm sure when the word gets out about South Bank, the resort will get busier but the personalized attention will stay! I can't say enough good things about the entire staff, but specifically Jaheim, Joseph, Eddy, Joan, Nensky, and Merlande. Everyone else was amazing as well!
