Hotel Royal Nest — Hotel in Entebbe City

Staff friendly but service lacking. Booked online but they had no record of the booking. Staff spent some time trying to find a room then tried to negotiate the price rather than what we had booked.||Advertised as having hot tubs they mean some rooms have baths but all have hot water. No balcony. Wardrobe was rail with a few hangers, nowhere in bathroom to hang the towels.||No phones in rooms, satellite tv but locked to one channel that they have on downstairs. They play loud music in the lobby which fills the hotel even though there is no one there listening to it which was annoying.||They are still building the third floor and working in the compound so we had people up and down ladders past the bathroom window at 7am.banging got so loud we had to leave the room. Garden nice, bar ok, small gym.||Breakfast was ok, we tried the Nyama Choma advertised 12000Ush for Friday, now moved to Saturday increased to 30000ush. I had pork my wife chicken, it was tough and not cooked properly so couldn't be eaten, when I pointed this out was told they would have a word with the chef who had gone home. No attempt to make amends. We asked if they could get us a taxi when leaving, they didn't have any drivers numbers so the manager said he would pop out to get one, 25minutes later we were told he was coming back 15 minutes later we set off to find our own.
