My husband & I and friends stayed here twice in January, before and after a Safari in Tanzania. On our first visit arriving at 5 AM I was wondering if I had made a mistake as the area approaching the Oasis was a little sketchy. However upon arriving at our destination, we found a true oasis. Stainer the owner & his staff were so welcoming. It was like relaxing in a friend’s backyard. Our first room was small but very comfortable but upon returning, we were given a large house to accommodate us all. We only had breakfast here but relaxed in the evening for drinks outside. We were thrilled with the kindness and graciousness of our host, picking up one of our group in Kampala & transporting us to and from the airport. This truly was the place we needed to relax after a long air flight and the to unwind again after our exhausting safari. Thank you Stainer & special...
Read moreThis is my second time staying at this place. This place is amazing by all means.
The best part of this hotel in my opinion is the management really treat the guests as guests. Sometimes more than guests, like families. This also sums up their focus towards service. The people are warm very hospitable.
Rooms are amazingly in order. Everything is in the right place in right order. Items provided are clean, beautiful, and carefully placed.
The food they provide are fresh and delicious. Interestingly they do not have any tight timing for free breakfast. Whenever any guest(s) want(s) breakfast, they can have that. Just for breakfast you will not have wake up early sacrificing your beautiful holiday morning.
The view is breathtaking. It had beautiful green lawns, which is just a few yards away from the Lake Victoria. I would also give credit to the gardener and the...
Read moreWonderful oasis located by the shores of Lake Victoria. I booked this bed and breakfast as a retreat before I flew home from Entebbe. We were kindly welcomed by Ssalongo (the owner) and his wife who helped to take out bags and gave us a detailed check in. Staff are friendly, the place is decorated authentically using natural materials. There is a bar serving local craft beer and wine. Food is served in the restaurant including snacks and local delicacies (tilapia fish and chips along with matooke and stew). I stayed in a double room alongside my Parents. All rooms are self contained and have either a private balcony and views of the beautiful lake with planes flying past! I would definitely stay again on my way to the airport or to bring friends who are visiting Uganda or even for a private event. Thank you for your wonderful hospitality on my homecoming trip...
