Hotel Mansy — Hotel in Kampala

I've stayed here at least ten times and I really like the proximity of the hotel to Kampala city center. It is at the Kibuye round about (Entebbe round about) and then just 200 meters towards Entebbe on the main road, next to TOTAL petrol station. ||||The rooms are clean and include a towel. A double wide bedroom costs 20,000 UGX ($8) per night which includes a shared bathroom. An in-suite bedroom with hot water costs only 30,000 UGX ($12) per night. (Prices are per room and not per person. i.e. I brought my girlfriend and the prices remained the same when we shared a room).||||There is no internet but there's a nice seating area on the main floor and on the floor above to watch tv and/or order a meal from their chef. There's also a billiards table on the main floor.||||They also have a parking lot with security.||||This place is mainly used by locals but I've seen a couple tourists when I've stayed. Das Hotel ist durchwegs sauber und ideal gelegen. Der allgegenwärtige Lärm von Kampala dringt natürlich auch ins Hotel: direkt neben neben dem Hotel ist eine Boda-Werkstatt. Wer Ruhe sucht, darf nicht nach Kamapla gehen... ||Wir hatten zwei Doppelzimmer, die mittels eines Durchgangs verbunden waren. Das war für eine Familie mit zwei erwachsenen Kindern perfekt. ||Der Leitspruch des Hotels "At Many We Do Care" passt und wird tatsächlich umgesetzt.
