Jarin Hotel — Hotel in Kampala

Very friendly and accommodating staff. The room I was in was the highlight of the stay, very spacious, clean and bright. Tea provided in room. CNN news (if that's your thing) on good size LCD TV. Wifi was slow at first then fast, then slow again. I was very happy with the breakfast. One Note: IF NOISE is a problem and you are a light sleeper, I'd make sure to ask for an inner room (not one with windows on 3 sides). The hotel is gorgeous but the neighbourhood is not and it since rooms are permanently externally ventilated can be quite noisy with barking dogs through the night with no way of closing them out. A Garden view simply means you look into the parking lot courtyard rather than out towards the city. I personally think that the view of the city is nicer than the courtyard. The restaurant was not fully open and I could not order from the menu but had to ask what was available. I ended up with a great dinner but if you are expecting a full on restaurant, perhaps if the hotel is fuller they would open it. Room for improvement

The rooms are as beautiful as you see them on the picture, very beautiful. But I experienced some cocroches in my room.

The staff needs to be trained thoroughly, they work in a beautiful place they can be friendly. We need those smiles

Nice, comfortable and practical hotel, near to the airport. |When I arrived I was surprised with a room upgrade because I'm a recurrent guest. It is the first time it happens to me in Uganda.|The staff is very kind and helpful.||One little thing to improve is the managing of the breakfast space, some basic items missing (glasses, cups) but the staff was not aware or reactive.||Many thanks for this gesture...
