Mahali Guesthouse — Hotel in Kampala

My wife and I stayed at the Mahali Guesthouse for two weeks, whilst visiting Kampala. The rooms are comfortable with large firm beds, covered with mosquito nets.||The complimentary breakfast was very good, with fruit and a wide selection of continental and cooked options.||The food served at the restaurant Coffee At Last is delicious with generous portions.||The service from the staff and management was outstanding and were always polite and helpful. The site is secure with a night guard, and is situated next to shops (including a pharmacy) and restaurants on a main road with good taxi links into the city centre, a 20 min ride or so in traffic.||We would highly recommend a stay here, whether for a couple of...

Loved my stay at Mahali - I stayed twice in the last week and it’s the perfect place to base yourself in Kampala. Rooms are comfortable and very clean, and the (free) breakfast is delicious. Staff are friendly and attentive, and were able to accommodate my late check in, calling to make sure I had ordered food before the kitchen closed.
