Kalalo Cottage Inn — Hotel in Pakwach

We booked, confirmed and paid for this property on Hotels.com, but when we showed up, we were told by the staff that they were full and we had to go to another hotel. This was very unappreciated, as it was nearing dark, in an unfamiliar town in Africa with 4 kids in tow. I have yet to receive a refund from Hotels.com because the property will not respond to emails or phone calls...

We booked and paid for this hotel on booking.com. After the payment was complete the wrote us that the hotel was already fully booked on that date. So they put us up in another hotel in the town, for more cost (which the other hotel was not worth...)||I only saw on tripadvisor that this happened to someone else after I had already paid. ||Would not recommend to...

I’ve stayed here a few times and it’s always enjoyable. It’s off the pakwach highway so you don’t hear the vehicles moving. The power usually goes off and the windows don’t have screens so opening the windows mean mosquitos or bugs enter. So it’s usually a hot night. But overall affordable and good food for a quick...
