Hetʹman — Hotel in Lviv Urban Hromada

We were planning to stay for 3 nights from December, 29th till January, 1st. We've booked a hotel 40 days before arrival. When we arrived at midnight we were told that our reservation was canceled and we can clarify any questions only next day when the staff who cares about reservations will be available to call them (probably after 10am because that was a holiday!). They gave us a room for one night but after that all rooms were occupied. We were happy to find at 1:30 am just released room for the next 2 days in the hotel not far from Lviv (almost all hotels in Lviv were booked beforehand for holidays, remaining hotels started from $500 per night).||The hotel and rooms are soviet style and cold. You'll get also a good opportunity to listen to the neighbors behind the wall, or the noise of cars outside. Bad location. When we came to the restaurant in the morning we were asked to come 20 minutes later because there was only one waiter and he had no time to serve all 4 tables. ||We do not recommend to stay...

My boyfriend and I booked 2 nights in lux room with 1 bedroom. Upon arrival we were provided with much better room - family lux room. It is definitely value for the price, we paid ca. $53 only. Our room was one of the best I had ever - huge living room and bedroom, toilet and bathroom with one more toilet. Unfortunately, there was no shampoo and shower gel, but it is not so awful, I just used soap))) One more important thing - I usually check if I took all my belongings before checking out, but this time I forgot to do that. I left my make-up in the bathroom and actually was not expecting to see it again, but just in case contacted the hotel and asked to ship it back to me via post. And you know what? I got it all back!!! Many many thanks to nice staff and especially to Taras Melnik for his effort and time spent to ship my stuff...
