My wife and I have just returned from a 3 night stay at Expo Village Service Apartments as part of a visit to Expo City and a trip to a Dubai cycling event. This was our second visit to Expo Village Residence 1C having stayed here last year for a similar reason. Ideally situated right next door to Expo City Metro Station, we were again very pleased with our apartment. Modern, practical and clean, with the exception to a couple of extra bed pillows it had everything that we required for our short stay. Apartment is fitted with a studio style kitchen including a dishwasher, gas hob and cooking oven, microwave, washing machine, kitchen toaster, kitchen utensils, iron and iron board. Our apartment also included a smart TV although no standard TV service seemed to be available, however this was not an issue for us. Apartment also included a small selection of tea and coffee making products, noting that if you are intending to self-cater during your stay then you will need to bring everything else with you, including things such as washing up liquid, tea towel etc etc as these are not supplied. The bathroom however did include toiletries such as shower gel, shampoo and hand soap. Finally, a quick comment regarding the apartment bed, fitted with clean and fresh lining it wasn’t the most comfortable bed I’ve slept in and was lacking a couple of extra pillows as only two were supplied. Apartment block also features many other facilities, such as free parking, an outdoor swimming pool and a well-equipped gym which in the mornings was never that busy making it ideal for use as part of an early morning work-out. The reception staff at Expo Village Service Apartments are also amazing, particularly Philip, Sharanya and Amed, who were once again mega helpful, friendly and attentive, making our short stay super pleasurable. Good example of this was my request for a 1 hour late check out which was permitted with no extra charge. Thank you so very much for this as it was a massive help. To summarise, Expo Village Service Apartments are not the most luxurious apartments in Dubai but for the price paid offer convenience , practicality and excellent value for money. The reception staff are all super friendly and amazing that my wife and I would not hesitate to return for a...
Read moreAn exceptional place to stay if you want a new scenery and be away from the city. The prices are fair and worth every dirham. My family stayed for the weekend for 3 days and 2 nights. The 3 bedroom unit is more than enough for 6 adults and 2 kids.1st floor unit has enormous balcony, almost the same size as the unit inside. The amenities are adequate. Kids enjoyed the pool and playground. Smart TV is available. Adults enjoyed the gym with fairly new equipments. Location is perfect. Easy to access by metro. Expo is a few minutes walk away. The place is clean. Variety of available food is few but delivery is easy. You just have to collect them at reception. Another thing that amazes me is that, their default check-in is 2pm. Unlike other where you have to request it because their normal check in time is 3pm or for some even 4pm. But the best part of experience is the kindness and hospitality of their staff. When the staff say "just ask whatever you need to enjoy your stay", they follow through as long as its within their capacity. Thank you to Mina, Sharanya, Karim, Abuzar. Mohammad, Nadeem and most especially Philip! You guys are exceptional!
I totally recommend this place if you are looking for serviced apartments and away from the city. This is perfect especially when its colder and expo city is has more activities to offer, I believe it...
Read moreI recently stayed at the hotel apartment for three nights. As a returning guest, I had chosen the property based on previous positive experiences. However, this time, I was quite disappointed with my stay due to the inadequate air conditioning in the three bedrooms, including the master room.
I understand it is summer and temperatures are high, but the cooling in those rooms was insufficient, making it very uncomfortable to sleep. I reported the issue on the second day, and a technician visited the unit. I was informed that a single AC unit is responsible for cooling both rooms and that the airflow was already at its maximum capacity.
If this is the standard setup, guests should be clearly informed in advance, especially during the hot summer months when adequate cooling is essential. Unfortunately, I was unable to sleep well during all three nights of my stay, which left me quite disappointed—particularly since I had paid a higher-than-usual rate for...
