I recently had the pleasure of staying at the Ramada Hotel & Suites by Wyndham Ajman with my family for a 12-day vacation, and I must say it was an exceptional experience from start to finish. I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Ajman.
First and foremost, the cleanliness of the rooms was impeccable. Upon arrival, we were greeted with spotless and well-maintained accommodations. It was evident that the hotel takes great pride in ensuring a high standard of cleanliness throughout the property. We felt comfortable and relaxed in our rooms throughout our stay.
The calm atmosphere of the hotel added to our overall enjoyment. Despite being located in the city center, the hotel provided a peaceful and tranquil environment. It was a welcome respite after a day of exploring and sightseeing in Ajman. We were able to rest and rejuvenate in the quietness of our rooms, which contributed to the overall quality of our stay.

When I returned home from the trip, I discovered that all the money left by the last day had been stolen from my wallet, which had been kept in the safe in the room the entire vacation. This was $ 900, 200 Euros and 30 thousand in ruble bills. The last time I saw money in my wallet was in the evening 2 nights before departure, when I put unused dollars from my pockets into my wallet before leaving on an excursion the next morning for the whole day. I returned from the excursion already at night, there was no need to look in the safe, we went to bed. On the morning of the day of departure, we were on the beach in the morning and returned to the hotel at 11.30, check-out was at 12.00, before which we packed our suitcases and only then did I take all my things out of the safe, including my laptop, smartphone, passports, and put them straight into my backpack without looking, because there was not much time, and then I put shoes and warm clothes on top of the backpack. The backpack was on my back, or in plain sight during the transfer to the airport, and I did not spend money at the airport itself, i.e. I did not take out my wallet until I arrived home. That's when the theft was discovered. I contacted a hotel representative, but they said that this was impossible, that only the guest knew the code to the safe. There are service methods to open the safe in case the code was forgotten or not known after the previous tenants left. A logical question for anyone, what happened when you did not know the code and needed to open the hotel safe? You also need to take into account that if pickpockets had stolen something on the way or on the go, there would not have been an empty wallet in the backpack, especially since it was hidden at the bottom of the backpack. It turns out that the hotel has a theft scheme used by the staff. As a result, I lost an amount exceeding the cost of the tour and spent my nerves on correspondence with the lobby worker, who told me that I lost money in things and I had to look for it myself at home, or ask my wife!!!! and the workers are all honest, and this was constantly repeated over and over again. We made special request for non-smoking room but they didn’t tell us we will have a smoking room during check in until we reach the room found out it was smoking room ourselves.
Unfortunately they cannot change our room due to fully booking.
As per the lady in reception, she said ‘your booking was not king bed non smoking room. All the king bed room are smoking room, your special request will only by availability.’
So below are booking procedure on Agoda: Although there is option for Non smoking room in the title, the king bed suit was showing Non-Smoking and the preference was mandatory to click.
Now the question : We booked on 26th, and the charging fee is not deducted immediately. If you don’t have non-smoking room, shouldn’t you either prioritize our need OR inform us in advance so that we can cancel the booking?
Yet, there is no any compensation. I even came up with free breakfast as request which the reception has no authority over it. It makes me look like I am just arguing for the free breakfast. The duty manager Muhammad called back to ask how may him help? Kindly should the staffs communicate. I’m lazy to explained again at 00:30, anyway, nothing gonna change and I really don’t care about free food🙃 It’s about the way you handle the complaint. Such a disappointing service. That’s is a very bad experience and I’ll never recommend it either to visit again.
Btw, my husband has a sensitive nose and he is suffering from very serious allergy issue.
