Outstanding Service from Callum - A True Asset to Premier Inn
I just wanted to take a moment to highlight the exceptional customer service I received from Callum during my recent stay at Premier Inn North West Leicester.
From the moment I arrived, Callum was incredibly helpful, polite, and what really stood out was his genuine interest not only in making sure I was looked after, but also in having a proper conversation about our respective work lives. We even shared a few funny work stories, which gave the whole check-in experience a more personal and friendly touch something you don’t always get in hospitality these days.
Callum also took the time to promote current Premier Inn promotions, including the upcoming 20% off deal in July, which I hadn’t known about. It’s clear he knows the brand inside out and wants guests to get the most out of their stay.
On top of that, with the weather being extremely hot, he was proactive in offering advice about staying hydrated and comfortable, which was thoughtful and much appreciated.
What really topped it all off was Callum’s mention of the Great Ormond Street Hospital for Children charity initiative. Thanks to him, I was able to support a great cause and even take home a lovely teddy bear for my wife, which will put a big smile on her face!
I’ve stayed at this particular Premier Inn seven times now, and it’s easily my favourite when working in or around Leicester. Callum’s brilliant service is a big reason why I keep coming back. He’s a credit to the team and to Premier Inn as a whole.
Thank you again, Callum you really...

Read moreOf course the Premier Inn brand is very well established and people who stay in them have fairly basic expectations; clean rooms, comfy beds, tea and coffee on the desk and a full English in the morning! So you would have thought they'd have everything sorted by now, right? Maybe not. Once you get out of the lobby the overriding feeling you get is that you don't want to touch anything because it's all so grubby. The smell is appalling, like toilet cleaner masking faeces until you get to the new section of the hotel where there's a powerful smell of hamster cages! The "restaurant" associated with the Premier Inn Glenfield is actually a dingy pub that specialise in carveries and very poor beer. Breakfast is kept as close to the carvery format as possible in so far as you help yourself to food that has been kept warm under the carvery lights for some hours; scrambled egg swimming in water, bullet like poached eggs, mushrooms that taste like they might have been grown under the beds in the hotel and bacon that seems to have been cooked in a microwave make up the sorry offering that's makes you wonder why you paid £12 for it. Oh and there's no filter coffee! My bed was very comfy and i slept really well. Also my bedroom and bathroom were super clean because i stayed in the new section of the Glenfield Premier Inn but be warned it wont be long before this section too becomes tired and grubby and the plumbing starts to grumble at you while your...
