Very unsympathetic jobsworth attitude attitude on parking. I parked in a proper parking space while visiting an optician in Oadby. Was there less than 1/2 hr, but had to return later to a different proper space about 300 yards away for 2 mins to drop off a paper prescription. Left the motor running, and my sister in law in the car, and a warden issued a ticket without even talking to my sister in law. They rejected an appeal and said they would increase the fine if I didn't pay even though I sent them proof that the ticket was in error because I returned to a different bay. Worst council I have ever dealt with. My child has been waiting for her ehcp to be finalised for over 6mths now and can not go to school until this is completed. They have refused a meeting as they have no staff. Meanwhile my child stays home with no education or support or an updated ehcp. How they can just leave these vulnerable kids at-home is beyond me. The phone lines don't work and none replies to emails. Absolute sham of a council that should be ashamed of how they are failing the kids that really need the help in order to have a future! I rarely leave public reviews, but feel compelled to share my experience with Leicestershire County Council’s School Contract Services Team. Over two months of repeated emails, calls, and online submissions have resulted in no meaningful engagement or resolution.
