As a wheelchair user I always check and double check that a room will be fully accessible. I stay at Premier Inn hotels because their accessible rooms have a lot of space and I can choose a room with a wet room with wheel in shower or lowered bath. I chose a room at this hotel with a wheel in shower wet room. However when we arrived the room was much smaller than any we have stayed in before, so small that I couldn't get my chair between the wall and the bed on one side or between the desk and the bed at the end to use the other side. The wet room was a wet room with wheel in shower but was tiny. There was no space to keep my chair dry whilst I was in the shower which meant I couldn't take a shower independently. For information: I do not have a particularly wide chair - it will go through normal door widths and it turns on a penny. When we went to reception to raise our issues we were treated as if it was our problem. The man on reception wouldn't look at or speak to me, he kept speaking to my husband, even when I asked him to speak to me. I asked if there were any other accessible rooms and there weren't. He said that it is an accessible room and there's nothing he can do because premier inn only adapted the room, they didn't build the hotel. He never apologised. I got the phone number of the head office and rang them, they were also unhelpful about the fact that no accurate description of the room was provided. They said I should complain when I got home and suggested that the desk could be removed and asked me to ask reception to help, which they did. We coped with the room because there was nothing else available, but it was far from ideal and I think it's important that photos and measurements are provided for every accessible room. We were given complimentary breakfast every day which we appreciated but it doesn't make up for the access issues. I have rung and complained through the customer service system but have been told they have to find out from the hotel what happened and will then get back to me when they can. I will update then.

The very basic of 3* accommodation. Largely due to the fact that there's a Miller and Carter restaurant next-door so there's no bar, lounge or communal area. I had a ground floor room that faced the public pathway so people were able to walk right up close to the window. The linen collection lorry parked right outside the window too which meant I was disturbed by the engine running and slamming doors. My breakfast on the first morning was 2 poached eggs on toast with back bacon. Unfortunately the eggs were over cooked and therefore spoilt. The bread was of a very basic quality. Thin white sliced packet stuff which was pretty bland. The bacon was far too salty for me too. I was also disappointed to find that the hot drinks machine didn't offer a choice of decaff latte only the caffinated. I was offered a refund which I accepted. However there is the option of taking your breakfast back to your room if you wish. One could eat quite comfortably as a result. The room was typically of the Premier Inn brand standard. Clean, aired and very comfortable, together with a really powerful shower

Stayed for Business purposes. This hotel needs drastic improvements with cleanliness and overall conditions of the rooms. The room was absolutely filthy, cobwebs everywhere and home to 3 spiders (1 pictured in the bathroom) which I had to remove out of the room. The room had a very foul smell and the bathroom pipes smelt of unclean stagnant water. The shower will block up within a minute of water running, leaving you standing there with water rising up to your ankles very quickly! Reception was mostly unmanned but the manager when available was friendly. Breakfast refunded for 2 nights (totalling £15) but that quite literally means nothing when you've paid £130 for what could only be described as mediocre at best.

Premier Inn South A45 Coventry 13th Oct 2025. Unfortunately, the experience my wife and I had was extremely disappointing and far below the standards that Premier Inn promotes.

Upon arrival, I requested two extra pillows at reception. The duty manager evening shift informed me that there should be two spare pillows in the bag on top of the wardrobe. When I retrieved them, I was shocked to find they were dirty and contained visible hairs. I immediately reported this to the manager again and the staff member provided two new pillow covers, but this did not resolve the overall cleanliness concern.

I then requested to change rooms due to the poor condition, but I was told again by duty manager the hotel was fully booked no rooms available “YEH RIGHT". As a result, we had no choice but to remain in the same room. Unfortunately, it was located next to what appeared to be a boiler room, and the loud mechanical noise persisted throughout the night, making it impossible for us to have a proper rest. In addition to the above, the room itself was in an unacceptable condition:

The carpet was heavily stained and unhygienic, making us reluctant to remove our shoes. The walls had multiple visible marks and scuffs. The extractor fan in the bathroom was not working. The room had an unpleasant smell throughout out.

I reported these issues to reception again, and while the lady on duty the following morning was polite and helpful, she mentioned that the duty manager might not be available "YEH RIGHT HIDING AWAY". She assured me she would log my complaints.

This experience was far from what Premier Inn advertises on TV or what we have previously come to expect from your brand. My wife and I were extremely disappointed and could not wait to check out the following morning.

Given the unacceptable conditions and the lack of a restful night’s sleep, waiting to hear back from so called Premier Inn better sleep for your money... For health and safety reasons council should close down this place. Okay now I am after that Lenny Henry, is anyone seen him? missing leading costumers on TV. I presume premier inn is good enough for him

OMG: They even gave the wrong email address to get in touch with Premier inn C/R

1/RESPONSE from premier Inn: our team is always available to assist you.

2/RESPONSE from me: “Oh, that’s rich, Let’s stop pretending the team was ‘always available.’” I have already emailed your C/S not heard...

Two night stay. A bland hotel in its decor with a mix of good and bad points as follows:

There is no means of calling reception from room, so for any requests l have to go to the reception desk. My TV remote control didn't work so had to go reception and ask for them to replace batteries.

Tea making set just have tea and coffee packets. No hot chocolate or complimentary biscuits

Woke up 3pm in the morning boiling hot. They had heater on way too high temperature setting for middle of night. of course I can manually set it but their pre programmed setting was inappropriate for a good night sleep which is ultimately all I required for my couple night weekend stay but their heater setting interrupted my sleep.

Free WiFi is very slow for normal Internet browsing but they have a faster speed at five pounds per 24hr.

Breakfast was decent, order what you like for a fixed price. sausages were burst open on both my two day stay, suggesting they're fast cooking.

Staff very welcoming and friendly.

Room itself is adequately equipped with essentials. USB charging socket. Bed is super comfy with nice firm pillows and thick quilt cover. Good power shower, easy to adjust but lack of markings to indicate which knob is which, so it's trial and error...not ideal given that hot water is scolding hot. Shower head is fixed to wall, it cannot be slipped off for spot showering on body etc. Mirrors are large and greatly placed to see sides and back of your head.

All in all, the hotel is bland and has a few shortcomings but it's a serviceable stay with all the essentials and...
