Pros: The hotel was a decent standard: overall clean and with comfortable beds. The staff were friendly and fairly helpful. Booking in was easy, and the breakfast buffet was good.||When my son slipped and bruised himself in the shower, one staff member was very concerned and responsive. She got me some ice for him as soon as I asked, and was very kind, asking if he needed her to call an ambulance (he didn't).||||Cons: The hotel in general was adequate rather than great. I've stayed in Premier Inns many times and have always found the standard higher than at this one. The tea and coffee supplies in the room were meagre and there were no drinking glasses (although these things could be obtained from reception). The punnets of long-life milk tasted particularly unpleasant (much worse than long-life milk generally does, in my experience). ||The buffet, although what it provided was all good, didn't have much variety in terms of, for instance, types of milk and cereals. One toaster was broken throughout our stay, and there were several staff members who were standing around chatting (on a couple of occasions ending up in the way of customers who wanted to get to the breakfast buffet).||I paid for ultimate wi-fi, but there was some sort of glitch that meant it only worked on two of my three devices, despite me following exactly the same instructions with all of them.||There was no bath mat provided, which led to, despite the "non slip" surface in the bath, my son slipping and falling, hitting the bath handle with his hip. The bath handle broke. Fortunately his hip didn't, but he ended up with awful-looking bruising and was stiff and sore for some days following. We were able to get a bath mat from reception after this incident, but if one had been provided he wouldn't have slipped in the first place.||||Overall, although this hotel was mostly adequate for our needs, I found it lacking in the quality I've come to expect from Premier Inn, and I won't be staying at this particular...
Read moreI am an 80+ year old man with terminal cancer acutr COPD, rhumatoid authritus, among many other things. Hence we needed a premier plus room for the fridge( medicines) and walk in shower, I also walk using a stick. We arrived on the 03/ 06/25 looking forward to meeting family and friends. On booking in we were told both lifts were not working(this apparently has been going on for months) No warning from management by email??. Our room was on the 3rd floor! We were offered a standard roomon 1st floor but no fridge. With the kind help of reception we managed to get our luggage to the room. Night 1 went to hang wash bag on back of bathroom door it immediately spun round and deposited it on the floor! Hard to sleep due to noise from Bob Dunn way horrendous. Day 2 to bathroom for a shower the on off control was hanging off and water temperature contol jammed at maximum heat. So you could either run in and out and get blanched or stand away and be steam cleaned. Reported to reception . Air con running hot so kind receptionist got us a fan. Air con set at 19 deg we dont have our heating that high. Tv kept turning itself back on. Day 3 after a quick blanche receptionist kindly moved us to another room with working shower and not so muchnoise. Out for the day came back in the evening lift working. Day4 lift working out for day came back in evening lift not working. Final morning had shower hung towel on back bathroom door hook fell off. All staff very helpfull and special thanks to Kelly and Leanne Sweeting. The only info we got from you was to welcome us and another to say we not be charged for parking. F/A about the lifts. Caution should be used in showers as end of tray is not non slip and no grab rails provided. I feel management heads should fall maybe back to bell boy. A maintenane handy man is essential. I was begining to think premier had been bought out by Britania hotels{ see which magazine report). Highly unlikely we shall...
Read moreI can't express how grateful I am for the Dartford Premier Inn during a challenging time in my life (15th August - 20th September). After having to leave my apartment due to a fire in the building, I found myself staying at this hotel for two weeks originally, then after spending a week at another hotel closer to home, I realized just how much I missed the Dartford Premier Inn and its wonderful staff and returned for another two weeks. It quickly became my home away from home.
As someone with Autism and Mental Health issues I struggle with unpredictability and change within my routine and schedule. I’m also extremely shy at times. The staff here are simply amazing! Their warm welcome and genuine care made all the difference. When I had an issue with the TV remote, they were quick to help, trying to fix it right away. When that didn’t work, they promptly assisted me in moving to another room without any fuss. Their support truly eased my worries and anxieties during a stressful period.
The cleanliness of my room was impeccable, thanks to the diligent cleaners who clearly take pride in their work. I also loved having four pillows on my bed—such a nice touch for a comfortable nights sleep!
What stood out the most was how every staff member greeted me with a smile and a friendly "hello." It really created a warm and inviting atmosphere throughout my stay, that made me feel valued as a guest.
Thank you, Dartford Premier Inn, for an amazing experience and for being such a comforting place during this moment of...
