Glebe Cottage — Hotel in Great Britain

Had a fabulous stay at Glebe Cottage. The location was perfect for the Lakes, Hadrians Wall, Carlisle Castle and the beach. It.was immaculately clean, warm, the beds were comfortable and facilities great. There were some welcoming brownies and a bottle of wine and enough fuel to keep the log burner going.

A brief update, we came back, still as lovely as before, clean tidy and wonderful comfy sheets on the beds. Truly a perfect location for a relaxing getaway. Ann and Tim very welcoming without being intrusive. Can't recommend highly enough, go and visit but not when we want...

Note this review for The Old Rectory B&B): Tim and and Anne have created a very friendly atmosphere as if we were visiting friends rather than staying at a b&b. The rectory is a beautiful example of a large 18th century home both inside and out. We were met with tea and scones upon arrival and enjoyed sharing hiking stories with them. Superb hosts with great local knowledge. Great location for Cumbria Way. Very welcoming. Excellent cooked breakfast. Local pub with fine Jennings Ale just yards away!
