From the moment we stepped in to this farm and glamping site it was absolutely perfect!
The site itself is conveniently located as it is not too far from the M5 to make getting there any trouble however it still has a rural and secluded feel. It's also near many great destinations and towns to explore and our hosts were only too happy to advise us from local walks to the best takeaways.
When we arrived at the site we were greeted with a warm welcome and handed the key to our very own five-star glamping pod. We parked at the top car park and proceeded to walk through to the next field where the pods were located, which has a really cute entrance as a gate over a little bridge. The site contains five stunning glamping pods and a lovely communal area and fire pit.
When we arrived at our pod, there was a very thoughtful Christmas card waiting for us alongside a lovely goodie bag full of apple juice made from the local area, chocolate coins to celebrate the festive season, and some biscuits and Pringles that were perfect with a late night cuppa! The pod was decorated with some tasteful Christmas decorations to celebrate the festive period and had some fairy lights around the circular window that made the atmosphere really romantic. I cannot fault the cleanliness of any of the site- it was immaculate! The pod has everything you need, from tea, coffee and milk to cutlery to towels and drying racks.
The first night we were there we were recommended a local Chinese by the hosts that delivered to the pods and it was one, if not the, best Chinese I have ever had. This was topped off by a perfect night in the hot tub. Luckily it was a clear sky the night we got there and we spent the whole night looking at the stars with glasses of bubbly. The pod was warm and toasty in the night and very cosy.
We made breakfast in the communal area in the morning and trust me when I say anything you have forgotten they have thought of! They have an adorable little tuckshop full of goodies and possible missing items from your suitcase. There were thoughtful touches all through the communal, a little basket of blankets for around the fire pit here and cups to pick your own blackberries there. We followed this by getting ready to go out for our days explorations and I was very happy that the shower pressure in the pod was great and the temperature toasty! Our day out was followed by another starlit hot tub evening.
In summary, if your looking for a romantic get away or even a special occasion with the girls, I could not think of anywhere better! Highly,...

Read moreWell... where do I start! From the very first contact with the owners of the Laurel Farm Glamping we knew this holiday was going to be great and they certainly delivered to a standard even HIGHER than we were expecting. We were so delighted to hear there was still a pod available with a luxurious hot tub for our stay so we decided to splash some extra money to have that extra and we would never look back, it made our stay! Every inch of the pod we stayed in was beautiful and spotless! We didn’t want to unpack because it was just too pretty to make a mess. Of course Clair and Craig were absolutely exceptional hosts providing us with wonderful advice on the area and local places to eat or explore but the guest information book that was inside the pod was even more helpful going into detail of all the special places we needed to go! This holiday was so very special and Laurel Farm Glamping thought of everything to excel our stay from blankets to borrow to an honesty shop with wonderful goodies in store! We will DEFINITELY be coming back and not only was the pod a magical place to stay, the beauty of the farm itself was just as magical! Truly wonderful experience and thank you Clair and Craig (including family who helped us too) for a...
