We enjoyed two brilliant weeks in our caravan at this site during the beginning of this summer's holiday (end of July into August). We hadn't stayed previously but knew that the location of Osmington is just perfect for enjoying the best of Dorset. In simple terms, the holiday was one of our best ever reflecting a superb friendly site, with spacious pitches arranged around the perimeter of a large grass field. Each pitch has an individual EHU and the centrally located water point is conveniently and logical positioned for ease of access for everyone. There are a number of excellent walks directly from the site and a bus stop only 5 mins away. The toilet and shower facilities are immaculate (newly refurbished) and cleaned each day with a very reassuring provision of anti-virus spray in each of the enclosed spaces. The 'pot wash' appeared also to be newly installed and the overwhelming sense is that the owner's really know what makes a small touring site that bit more special! We are already thinking about a return visit and for us this ticked every box and more. Highly recommended !!

Excellent place for camping! My friends and I returned to this site for a short break away. Such a Peaceful site. Local walks are good down to the sea front and a short walk to the local pub. Showers have constant hot water and the site has washing up facilities as well as disposal points for caravan waste. Fresh water is supplied and the owners are very friendly. The campsite prices are excellent as well. There is a local taxi company called Fleetline take you to Weymouth for about £10 as well, I'd recommend using them.

Excellent campsite. Very peaceful and quiet, surrounded by fields of horses which are great to look on to. There are views across to the king and horse carved into the distant hillside too. Facilities are spotlessly clean. There's no longer a pub in the village but it's a nice coastal walk to the Smuggler's Inn at Osmington Mill. We also walked into Weymouth along the coast. That's about 3 or 4 miles but very scenic. Would highly recommend the small campsite for a bit of peace and quiet.
