We were welcomed by the lovely Stephanie with coffee and cake on the balcony of the guest house, overlooking incredible views of the spectacular Cornish coastline and being blessed with the weather we could see as far as Tintagel! Our room was warm and comfortable and beautifully decorated we also thoroughly enjoyed the delicious brownies and shortbread! ||On our first evening we dined at The Fish Kitchen, we have been before and it didn’t disappoint, wonderful fresh offerings from the local boats, together with fantastic cocktails and a stunning wine selection proved to be a wonderful start to our stay. ||We both thoroughly enjoyed our Full Cornish Breakfast on Saturday morning setting us up nicely for some exploring ready to work up an appetite for our dinner in The New Road Restaurant opposite the guest house that evening. We have wanted to eat there for a while and as expected we’re treated to an incredible tasting menu. Our table looked out over the beautiful bay lit by a gorgeous sunset and the staff were super knowledgeable and friendly and clearly loved their jobs. ||The following morning and before our journey back home to Berkshire, we again enjoyed the Full Cornish Breakfast this time cooked by the lovely Nathan, what a treat. ||We would like to thank you all for a wonderful culinary adventure which made our anniversary that extra special and i’m sure we will be back. ...

Read moreWe have just come back from having had a fabulous two-night foodie break at Nathan Outlaws guest house. From start to finish we had an amazing experience with lovely, welcoming, friendly & knowledgeable staff at the guest house & both restaurants, we couldn’t have been cared for any better with special thanks to Stephi, Rachel & the young lady who’s name we didn’t get (apologies) at the guest house. The breakfast choices were very generous with various fruit, cereals & pastries on offer and the hot options cooked by Nathan were delicious. Tea/coffee & freshly made cake is also available in the afternoon, which of course we participated in! Our room whilst small was very comfortable & well-appointed and included a balcony overlooking Port Isaac Bay towards Tintagel a view which you’d never tire of & which we took advantage of on both afternoons of our stay despite the windy conditions. The tasting menus at both the small but perfectly formed Fish Kitchen & the New Road restaurant, with its own spectacular view over the bay (until the sun sets), were faultless - so many beautifully presented & flavourful dishes. We had a quick chat with both Nathan & Rachel just as we were checking out which was a great way to end our stay.
