I’d give this hotel 0 stars if I could. Checked in Monday 18th February was booked into a disabled room Number 1 as it’s all that was left on the booking site, first night the flat footed person above started their sponsored walk at 8.20 pm and continued to walk around their HUGE room constantly until 11.30 pm, the roof cracked and creaked under every footstep, drawers being opened and slammed closed and don’t get me on the noise from the bathroom. Suddenly what sounded like a body hitting the floor the entire room shook then the shouting started, the night porter was oblivious as he was sat comfortably behind the reception desk wearing earphones! He told me he would “check it out”. In the morning the new receptionist said he had said “something had gone on, he said something about noise as his shift finished! “ but she didn’t press him, she checked the rota and told me he was a relief night porter.....was that supposed to make me feel better,? “The person above is also booked in all week and has stayed before - I can’t move you as we are full, see how you get on tonight and I will see what I can do!” Is the company paying the bill, I was going to offer you a free breakfast but it’s paid for so”........ so much for the Great nights sleep guarantee! And sitting here, in the same room the noise from above had been constant for 3 hours and counting, PREMIER INN Luton....NEVER AGAIN I’d rather sleep on a...
Read moreI had to go to the front desk to ask for toilet paper on day 2. The premier room was nothing fancy, the “smart tv” was not. If you want to watch anything but the limited channels, bring a HDMI cable and adaptor as it doesn't have blue tooth. Pillows flat. Shower was nice. The attached restaurant was decent and breakfast reasonably priced.
We asked if we could extend our stay buy one day the morning before check out and two different desk clerks said “of course, no problem” but we’d have to change rooms. Ok, that’s fine. Said, "Come back this evening when the manager is in and see if he can make it so you don't need to change rooms." We did this and tried to solidify the extra day with a credit card but they said they couldn’t because we were already booked and could not extend in their system because we were changing rooms. I asked to do a new booking, the fellow said it couldn’t be done but come back in the am and we’ll get it straightened. I specifically asked if the room was being held for us and he said yes. Guess what happened when we went to check out then check back in, the hotel had absolutely no rooms. We will not...
Read moreQuite disappointed when I turned up at 11pm with my two children after attending an all day event! They told me they had no room! They had actually given the room to someone with the same name and surname! what’s the point of having booking a ref number? Took about 30mins to find me a room! Upon entering the room, it reeked of smell of vomit! If it was any other time we would have asked for another room! It was gone midnight and we had an early start the following morning! Used our own spray to get rid of the smell! The toilet had some brown stains and the whole place is very tired and outdated! Needs refurbishment! Staff? Tried to give me extra 30mins to check out however there was no apologies! Complete lack of consideration for their customers’ needs! They could do with some training on the DPA as I ended up getting an invoice (3 rooms - another guest with the same name!)! I don’t think i will ever be staying at this place! We have used Premier Inn in different cities and always had a pleasant experience however because of this experience I have to think twice before using...
