The windows don't open. The ventilation works well, but it feels like there's not enough air and quite wet as well. Mobile signal is very weak in the room. Free Wi-Fi requires authorization every 15 minutes. The Wi-fi signal is very weak, even the Premier Inn website doesn't load, no YouTube of course. You can pay 5 pounds per day for unlimited Wi-fi. Unlimited English breakfast has some limits here. You need to wait for the waiter and place an order. Quite often they bring you not what you ordered and what you expected. We stayed here 5 nights. The first day thay brought me podge instead of scrambled eggs and fried egg - I asked both. I asked fried eggs and scrambled eggs again but got fried eggs only. The second day thay forgot to bring sausages. Also was little spoon of scrambled eggs and haf of plate mushrooms. The third day everything was fine with my meal but I had problems to get in - for some reason thay didn't see me in the list of the clients. The fourth day thay brought 3 slices of bacon instead of 4 I asked. If you have strong nerves, plenty of time in the morning and don't mind to be hungry after ,,unlimited,, breakfast you paid for,...
Read moreStaff all very helpful, welcoming and friendly, especially the young lady on reception when we checked in. Was disappointed that although we were booked into a family room for four of us ((2 adults and 2 children) mugs and drinks were only provided for 2 people. Apparently, that is the new Premier Inn policy. We had to ask for extra which were provided with no problems from the lovely girl on reception. However, if every customer has to go and ask for the necessary items, that is unnecessarily time consuming for staff and a pain for customers. My biggest disappointment was the fourth bed. It had a fixed mattress so the bottom sheet could not be tucked in anywhere. The staff had just placed a folded over sheet on top of the mattress ( there was a mattress cover) so obviously the sheet would just slide off/move when you got in to bed as it wasn't held in place at all. Considering the main objective is a peaceful night's sleep this wasn't possible for my daughter, and consequently we were all affected. The staff can only deal with the resources/rules they are given. Otherwise, great breakfast and...
Read moreMy wife and I made an overnight stop at this Premier Inn and took advantage of the meal deal, which included a 2 course meal plus drink and breakfast in the nearby Beefeater pub. When booking online there was a warning that the hotel was being extended, but this was barely noticeable and work was contained behind a high close boarded fence. The friendly receptionist booked us in to the pub for our evening meal and we went to our room for a chance to relax and then freshen up before our meal. The room was very clean and spacious and although close to major roads including M4 was quiet. We had an enjoyable meal at the pub and were served with a minimum of delay by cheerful and polite staff despite the pub being very full indeed. They were a credit to the company. Breakfast was another pleasant experience with us being greeted by a very warm and cheerful waitress which put us both in a good frame of mind. I would happily stay at this hotel again and most highly recommend it to anyone travelling to this...
