Recently, my family and I stayed at the Hotel Ramada for an overnight stay. While the staff at reception were genuinely friendly and helpful, there were a few things that left a bad taste in our mouths for future visits. Firstly, the check-out time is at 11am, and like most people, we expected not to be disturbed before then. However, the room service staff were extremely unprofessional and lacked training and basic manners. At 9:25 in the morning, one of the room service women barged into our room without knocking on the door, while my wife and I were still half-asleep in our night clothes alongside our two kids. This made my wife extremely unhappy, and if it weren't for the door safety lock, it would have been an embarrassing and potentially unsafe issue. While I did bring up the issue with the staff, I fear that it may be overlooked, as it seems like this isn't the first time such an occurrence has happened at this hotel. I'm sure others may have experienced the same thing as well. Secondly, the carpet in our room was disgustingly filthy with red stains all over numerous patches. It was quite unsettling and made us question the overall cleanliness of the hotel. Lastly, parking was a major issue as it was difficult to find a spot without getting fined £60. However, the reception staff were helpful in pointing us in the right direction to avoid any such issues. Overall, while the staff at reception were friendly and helpful, our stay at Hotel Ramada was marred by several issues that could have been avoided with proper training and attention to detail. I'm not sure if I would choose to stay here again in the future.

15/06/2021 -Had some serious hygiene issues with the room on arrival which the manager very quickly resolved. No air con in rooms and the windows are locked / restricted to being opened around 3 inches.... considering its the middle of summer some fresh air would be good...... to top it off there is constantly 2-3 people standing outside the main entrance SMOKING.... So any fresh air coming into my sauna of a bedroom is now a smoke infested pit!!!!! This hotel needs a designated smoking area..... Food / Restaurant is to a good standard and reasonable on price. Best the about this hotel is the staff 28-06-2021 Update Phoned ahead to request I was not put anywhere near the front of the building due to the smoke issues I had previously, This week is much better clean room, put at the back of the building 🤣🤣 Isolation is bliss. Review improve 2 stars to 4 30/06/2021 Update. Not the hotels fault I guess but I am in room 133 and someone in the room next to me feels its acceptable to smoke in their room. Honestly some people are just shocking..... I'm glad I'm checking out tomorrow to be honest.

I've stayed at the ramada many times, and I was glad to be doing so again on Sunday, 15th of September. Easy check-in and staff very helpful. We went to our room, but not up to its usual standard, there were coffee stains on the wall, and one of the USB sockets was broken, also there was red stains on the carpet and we was told its not blood but paint from someone painting the furniture without a dust cover down but its in every room. went to see a member of staff on reception and was offered another room, but that was the same. Was offered free breakfast, but I'd already paid for breakfast, no compromise with the bill still charged full price. The carpets need changing and rooms a good clean. It's still a great hotel and food excellent.

Avoid at all costs ,it’s not worth it, even if you don’t have many options. I can guarantee that anything else would be better than this.We booked this room through Trip.com, and upon arrival, we were told we had to pay £5 for parking ,despite there being a sign stating that parking is free for guests, but not for those who book through a third party company…The rooms were filthy and in terrible condition. They are in need of refurbishment. We asked to change rooms but were told the hotel was fully booked. One of the windows wouldn’t close, so we had to sleep with it open. That might have been bearable, except the hotel is right next to the M5, and the noise made it extremely difficult to sleep. The bathroom was dirty, the floor hadn’t been hoovered or mopped, and the shower floor was disgusting (thankfully, I had flip-flops). The toilet hadn’t even been flushed. The carpet was stained and unvacuumed. The walls were falling apart. I even found a dirty sock and used tissue in the room. The receptionist did offer to clean the toilet, but that doesn’t make up for the overall state of the place. The hotel listing shows a picture of a swimming pool, but there isn’t one. They also claim to have a gym ,where is it? All I saw was a tiny room with three cardio machines.I only stayed because I couldn’t find anywhere else at the last minute, and they refused to offer a refund or even a partial refund. They told Trip.com customer service that they were offering us free breakfast as compensation ,but they only called us at 9am to let us know, and breakfast ends at 10. I was asleep until 9:30 because I’d been kept up most of the night by the noise.Honestly, this was a total waste of money and a really...
