Rutland Hall Hotel Leisure — Hotel in Great Britain

Very unhappy. We came here for refreshments after 5 mile tour the day of my birthday. There is no any other option to buy drinks or food so we had to go here. At the time we arrived there was one more table waiting for waitress to order. After 50 minutes of watching 3 waitresses doing everything just no serving customers we had to go inside and order inside the hotel … we got no any apology for waiting 50 minutes at 30 degrees for stupid water… they all looked like noone even know how to process order … we asked for receipt and received just card payment confirmation…

We ordered sharing plate for 25.50£ … we expected it might be matching at least 2 portions but the size of this super expensive meal was for one person … and I am not talking about cooking level of this dish… I am quite tolerant person but this place is really something … We...

It's a stunning location, with beautiful nature surrounding this place.. However, this is seriously hindered by the fact this site is not Wheelchair friendly, steep hills, stairs to the lodge cabins, restaurant and sports centre.. There is no allowance for visitors who are limited in mobility..

The other issues I will raise is the poorly kept golf course, bowls courts, and crazy golf court.. From overgrown grass on the golf course, to leafs, and rabbit poo on the crazy golf course, to weeds in the French bowls court..

Some of the footpaths between the A frame lodges are dark (poorly lite for night time strolls) some stair tiles are not marked white painted markings and are loose tiles..

My 3rd visit as not improved in the past 2 years I visited...

Incredibly underwhelming.

Disappointing service in Blossoms restaurant Saturday evening. Left waiting for drinks for 45mins and apart from 1 check to see if the meal was OK not 1 member of staff asked if we needed drinks or dessert menu. Food was OK, nothing special considering the prices. Room amazing - view fantastic. The odd usual niggle - water not draining in shower, limited hot water and bedside lamp not working. Spa - what spa? Under renovation, there is no signage and entrance through a back door. Cold and uninviting. Cancelled treatment as money better spent elsewhere.
