Manager Mel is an outstanding asset going over and above at all stages. It is unusual to know who the hotel manager is when staying in a Travelodge, but on this occasion not only was it obvious who the manager was, but also the Wincanton Travelodge has one that is an asset to the company. We booked the Travelodge for three nights, for a wedding taking place locally - Now, this is a Travelodge so you know what you are getting but in this instance No! - The room was better than expected and the service was better than you might experience in a 4/5star hotel. This right they'll become as good as a Premier Inn providing the get rid of some of the guests that they house in...
