The Cottage - Glossop — Hotel in High Peak

A real home from home. We visit family once or twice a year and always stay in The Cottage. It has a lovely homely feel and fully equipped with all you could need. Good sized garden which is great for our dog. Lots of places to visit nearby, we mainly go into Stockport, (tittertons pork pies & tasty Lancashire cheese from the market), Buxton, Formby Beach and of course Glossop - Highly recommend a pint of Holts and the food in the Norfolk arms. Still plenty of places we haven’t been yet and are planning our dates to return...

After a recommendation from my daughter I booked The Cottage. What a wonderful find. Great place to stay so clean and comfortable. Lovely woodfire makes it so cosy. Accommodation is great. The bedroom is very comfortable and you can see the stars when in bed. There is also a single room with twin beds. The garden is lovely my two dogs loved it and I knew they were safe as it is well fenced. Lovely walks round the area. After my weeks stay I felt so relaxed and can't wait to go back....

I’ve just booked to stay at The Cottage again for a regular winter break. It’s a fantastic place to get away to when you need a break from the hustle and bustle of city living.

It’s nicely set away for some quiet time but the local amenities are only a short distance away should you not fancy cooking for the night.

I’ve uploaded a picture from our last visit. The wood burner felt even cosier with the snow starting to fall.....can’t wait...
