We had three short stays over a three week period ranging from 5, 3 and 2 nights. The staff, despite always being busy, were very friendly and helpful. Room 110 was small but okay for a couple of nights, just be careful that the shower desn't overflow onto the bathroom floor (the other two rooms had over-bath showers), room 101 was the smallest so maybe better for just an overnighter, room 111 was larger and therefore more comfortable. We had no issues with noise All of the staff, from the bar and restaurant, kitchen and room service were really friendly, helpful and professional. I really appreciated the historical photographs displated throughout the hotel and pub, linking the hotel to the area at the time around WW2 and to the local RAF base at Northolt. The dining room is the former dance hall, you can really imagine how it might have been back in the 1940's. The meals were great value, it was nice to be able to head downstairs early (Breakfast served from 07:00), grab your free coffee and then order brekkie online to your table. As mentioned previously, apart from one slightly sultry guy, everyone was very friendly and, at times, it was very busy in there. This was an ideal location for us, an easy drive from Heathrow and close to the people and places that we wanted to visit. We were very happy with the value, for a London hotel.

Disappointing Experience with Staff and Performance Management I recently had an experience that left me quite dissatisfied with Wetherspoons in Northolt . Unfortunately, several aspects of their staff performance and overall management have multiple raised concerns. 1. **Staff Interaction:** During my interactions, I found the staff to be unhelpful, dismissive and unprofessional. For example, This lack of engagement and professionalism made my experience terrible. 2. **Timing Issues:** The timing of services provided was also a major issue. I experienced delays & issues with timing—long wait times, missed food orders. It was disappointing to see that schedules were not adhered to, which indicates poor time management. 3. **Performance Management:** It seems that there is a lack of effective performance management within the organisation. This has impacted your experience—lack of accountability, insufficient training and poor customer communication. As a result, the quality of service suffered, and it felt like there was no system in place to address these issues. Overall, my experience with Wetherspoons did not meet my expectations, and I believe there is significant room for improvement in staff training, timing, and performance management. I hope they take this feedback seriously to enhance their customservices.

Review – The Greenwood (JD Wetherspoons) Possibly the stingiest, most laughable breakfast I’ve ever been served. Just look at the photo — a massive patterned plate, and in the middle a tiny ramekin holding two strawberries, cut into quarters. That’s what counts as fruit here. I was given exactly 11 blueberries, counted out like contraband. When I asked, the server told me I should be grateful because they “normally give out less.” Grateful? For being rationed like it’s wartime? The “banana” was a quarter of one, sliced up to disguise how tight it was. And the porridge? Like wet cement. I put the spoon in upright and it stood there solid, as if I’d ordered a bucket of plaster instead of breakfast. This isn’t value — it’s an insult. Miserly, penny-pinching and utterly joyless. Wetherspoons might pride itself on being cheap, but Greenwood takes it to a new low: rationing fruit and serving concrete porridge. Avoid if you actually expect breakfast to resemble food rather than a bad joke.

Stayed here with my partner recently. There was good news and bad. |The Hotel building is beautiful and has been decorated to a high standard, however, there are maintenance issues, such as a shower screen that is not long enough and has let water splash on to the floor and ruin the flooring.||The other room we were in, had a leaky shower hose. Both bathrooms had swivel mirrors that need to be repaired as they would not stay still and grout in the bathroom that is yellowing and windows with flaking paint. ||We asked to move rooms after the first night as we were unaware that the pub was open until 1am and we had people shouting and screaming outside form midnight until 2am, which quietened down after a complaint. We moved rooms for the second night and it was much quieter and we slept better. ||The beds were a bit too firm for us, but I understand that this is personal preference. When we asked a manager in the bar for hand towels, she brought us two bath mats and said these are the smallest towels !! |The room was clean and the cleaning lady was extremely helpful, but as with a lot of hotels, the toilet is never bleached and so a stain appears at the bottom of it, whereas bleach left down for half an hour once a week would solve this problem. ||Loose bedside lampshades was another issue, all of the issues would be a simple fix, I am sure. There are only about six parking spaces for the twelve bedrooms but I believe there is on street parking. The check in process takes about 20 minutes, as you have to queue at the bar and wait for a manager to arrive.|| All things considered it was okay and conveniently located as we were visiting family 3 miles away, but would we stay again? ||The jury...

On 26/04/2025, we ordered our drinks via the app. Although the estimated wait time was 3 minutes, our drinks did not arrive for over 25 minutes, so I went to the counter to check. When I mentioned my order, the staff told me the drink had been made 15 minutes ago and should have already been delivered. However, I was made to feel as if I was lying to get a free drink, which was very embarrassing, especially in front of other customers.

They then brought the drink to my table — the same drink that had been sitting there for over 15 minutes — while I was still at the counter. They insisted it had been served and told me to leave the counter. I asked if they could make a fresh one, as the quality would not be the same, but they refused, saying the order had been completed.

I also asked about my second order, a Pepsi, which they had no record of. Only after I mentioned it did they prepare it. I was told to go back to my table and that it would be brought over, but given the experience so far, I didn’t trust them and waited at the counter to take the drink myself.

It was a horrible experience. I have been visiting this Wetherspoon for a long time, but I noticed the entire staff seemed new, and it was clear that many of them didn’t know what they were doing. I also don’t believe there was a manager present that day, as the manager normally wears a white shirt.

I would not recommend anyone to visit this location anymore. The staff were rude and provided zero...

Food was Infested with flies. We had flies dinning in our pizza. I called on one of the staffs to inform him of the situation and without any apologies or remorse, he said to me I can take your food away but I will not refund or make you another one. This was said without me asking or making any suggestions of a refund or exchange.

This particular staff( Asian Male) who also claimed to be the manager was so racist and felt so confident,I wouldn't take any action for his dispicable behaviour. The other diners next to me stepped in and said his behaviour was totally unacceptable.

I know for a fact, if it was a white family, he would never have spoken to them in that manner. We also had 4 young children 2+ and he did not for a second take them into consideration.

I asked for the manger to make a complaint, he said he is the manager, as a company director myself, I won't employ him if he was the last man standing on earth.

I asked for his name he refused and said, I don't have to give you my name.

I said to him this is dispicable, and he said because of your language I am now going to refuse to serve you.

A totally incompetent, childish and by far a racist manager.

In the end, I spoke to another manager Channon, who had absolutely no reason to withhold her name and also directed me on how to make a complaint.

Legal action on the way.

These sort of racist human beings should not be allowed to serve the general public.

See you...
