I recently stayed at travelodge Wembley hotel with my family, and it was an incredibly disappointing experience that I feel compelled to share. Here are the issues we faced during our stay:
Staff Behavior: The staff were unhelpful and downright arrogant. Their demeanor towards guests, especially when problems arose, was dismissive and rude, adding stress rather than solutions to our concerns. Especially the reception even all team members are bossing around like managers. I have asked many times about managers and supervisors but everyone is saying I am manager and I am boss so so rude. I have seen this kind of behaviour in hospitality ever in my life.
Breakfast Issue: Despite paying for breakfast for all 9 of us, the dining experience was restrictive and unwelcoming. We were shocked to find that we can’t even take 1 croissant 🥐 per person. Even their food is so old and not fresh This was strictly enforced, making our breakfast time tense and uncomfortable.
Treatment of Children: Our children, all around 6 years old, were treated poorly by the staff. The staff used scare tactics on them, which is completely unacceptable and unprofessional in a hospitality setting.
Hygiene and Comfort: The rooms and corridors had a persistent bad smell, which made our stay very unpleasant. Additionally, the hotel was dirty and infested with mosquitoes, raising serious concerns about the cleanliness standards being upheld.
Facilities in Disrepair: The water supply was cut off in the disabled toilet, which caused significant inconvenience, particularly because we had a disabled person with us. This speaks to poor maintenance and a lack of proper facilities for all guests.
Sleeping Arrangements: The beds were too small, and the mattresses were of very low quality, leading to back problems for several of us after just a week's stay. Comfort in a hotel is basic, and failed terribly in this regard.
Rooms Rooms doesn’t have any hair dryers no irons and even place to put your luggage like wardrobe. It’s better to stay in train and bus station.
I also have several photographs documenting these which I wanted to post it but I couldn’t...

Our recent experience at a certain establishment was marred by disappointment and frustration on multiple fronts. Not only were the food options stale and unappetizing, but the management's response to our concerns was shockingly aggressive and unprofessional.
The breakfast buffet failed to meet even the most basic standards of quality, with offerings that appeared to have been left out for far too long. From lackluster pastries to rubbery eggs, it was evident that freshness was not a priority. As paying customers, we rightfully expected better.
When we attempted to address these issues with the management, we were met with hostility and arrogance. Instead of offering solutions or apologies, they resorted to confrontational behavior, including offensive language and threats of physical violence.
Such unprofessionalism is completely unacceptable. Guests should never be subjected to such disgraceful treatment, especially when expressing legitimate concerns about the service quality.
To add insult to injury, despite claiming to offer complimentary Wi-Fi, the establishment deceitfully charged an unfair fee of £3 per day per device for Wi-Fi access. This misleading practice is exploitative and demonstrates a blatant disregard for customer satisfaction.
In conclusion, we strongly advise against patronizing this establishment. Between the poor food quality, aggressive management, and unfair Wi-Fi fees, it's an experience best avoided. Save yourself the trouble and seek accommodations elsewhere, where honesty and fairness prevail.

Read moreWhen myself and my partner were at the reception desk to check in, the staff members were miserable. Not even a welcome. They looked like they weren't bothered to work. One of them looked aggressive.
The next day, I was waiting at the queue at the reception area. I waited for around 10 minutes. The other staff member, who wasn't busy, just kept staring at me for a good while and then walked out of the door.
When I asked politely if I can have another key card for my partner, as we only received one key, the guy was quite aggressive and wanted an argument. I felt intimidated. He treated me like I did something wrong.
The housekeeper was lazy. We put the sign on the door handle to clear out the rubbish and provide us with fresh towels. She was very rude to my partner and complained about the bin being slightly overfilled. She dumped the fresh towels on the bed, but did not take the old ones. We ended up with 6 towels in the room.
Other than that, the room was very nice. The food we had for dinner was delicious, and the staff who served us were friendly and professional. That was the highlight of our stay.
Overall, it is a nice hotel, but some of the staff need more training, and learn how to treat their guests with the way on how they would like to be treated.
I would have given this hotel 1 star out of 5, but because the food was great, the room was great, and service during dinner was great, I decided to give 2 stars.
I have been to many Travelodge hotels numerous times over the years and I enjoyed them all. However, sadly, this one let us down. It's a shame, because it is starting to make me not go to a Travelodge...
