I recently stayed at travelodge Wembley hotel with my family, and it was an incredibly disappointing experience that I feel compelled to share. Here are the issues we faced during our stay:

Staff Behavior: The staff were unhelpful and downright arrogant. Their demeanor towards guests, especially when problems arose, was dismissive and rude, adding stress rather than solutions to our concerns. Especially the reception even all team members are bossing around like managers. I have asked many times about managers and supervisors but everyone is saying I am manager and I am boss so so rude. I have seen this kind of behaviour in hospitality ever in my life.

Breakfast Issue: Despite paying for breakfast for all 9 of us, the dining experience was restrictive and unwelcoming. We were shocked to find that we can’t even take 1 croissant 🥐 per person. Even their food is so old and not fresh This was strictly enforced, making our breakfast time tense and uncomfortable.

Treatment of Children: Our children, all around 6 years old, were treated poorly by the staff. The staff used scare tactics on them, which is completely unacceptable and unprofessional in a hospitality setting.

Hygiene and Comfort: The rooms and corridors had a persistent bad smell, which made our stay very unpleasant. Additionally, the hotel was dirty and infested with mosquitoes, raising serious concerns about the cleanliness standards being upheld.

Facilities in Disrepair: The water supply was cut off in the disabled toilet, which caused significant inconvenience, particularly because we had a disabled person with us. This speaks to poor maintenance and a lack of proper facilities for all guests.

Sleeping Arrangements: The beds were too small, and the mattresses were of very low quality, leading to back problems for several of us after just a week's stay. Comfort in a hotel is basic, and failed terribly in this regard.

  • WiFi * seeing for the first time every in london hotel don’t have free WiFi so you need to pay to WiFi as well.

Rooms Rooms doesn’t have any hair dryers no irons and even place to put your luggage like wardrobe. It’s better to stay in train and bus station.

I also have several photographs documenting these which I wanted to post it but I couldn’t...

Misleading Charges and Disastrous Dining: Poor Food Quality, Aggressive Management, and Unfair Wi-Fi Fees

Our recent experience at a certain establishment was marred by disappointment and frustration on multiple fronts. Not only were the food options stale and unappetizing, but the management's response to our concerns was shockingly aggressive and unprofessional.

The breakfast buffet failed to meet even the most basic standards of quality, with offerings that appeared to have been left out for far too long. From lackluster pastries to rubbery eggs, it was evident that freshness was not a priority. As paying customers, we rightfully expected better.

When we attempted to address these issues with the management, we were met with hostility and arrogance. Instead of offering solutions or apologies, they resorted to confrontational behavior, including offensive language and threats of physical violence.

Such unprofessionalism is completely unacceptable. Guests should never be subjected to such disgraceful treatment, especially when expressing legitimate concerns about the service quality.

To add insult to injury, despite claiming to offer complimentary Wi-Fi, the establishment deceitfully charged an unfair fee of £3 per day per device for Wi-Fi access. This misleading practice is exploitative and demonstrates a blatant disregard for customer satisfaction.

In conclusion, we strongly advise against patronizing this establishment. Between the poor food quality, aggressive management, and unfair Wi-Fi fees, it's an experience best avoided. Save yourself the trouble and seek accommodations elsewhere, where honesty and fairness prevail.

When myself and my partner were at the reception desk to check in, the staff members were miserable. Not even a welcome. They looked like they weren't bothered to work. One of them looked aggressive.

The next day, I was waiting at the queue at the reception area. I waited for around 10 minutes. The other staff member, who wasn't busy, just kept staring at me for a good while and then walked out of the door.

When I asked politely if I can have another key card for my partner, as we only received one key, the guy was quite aggressive and wanted an argument. I felt intimidated. He treated me like I did something wrong.

The housekeeper was lazy. We put the sign on the door handle to clear out the rubbish and provide us with fresh towels. She was very rude to my partner and complained about the bin being slightly overfilled. She dumped the fresh towels on the bed, but did not take the old ones. We ended up with 6 towels in the room.

Other than that, the room was very nice. The food we had for dinner was delicious, and the staff who served us were friendly and professional. That was the highlight of our stay.

Overall, it is a nice hotel, but some of the staff need more training, and learn how to treat their guests with the way on how they would like to be treated.

I would have given this hotel 1 star out of 5, but because the food was great, the room was great, and service during dinner was great, I decided to give 2 stars.

I have been to many Travelodge hotels numerous times over the years and I enjoyed them all. However, sadly, this one let us down. It's a shame, because it is starting to make me not go to a Travelodge...

A good size carpark all round the hotel you'd have to get there early to get a space and then pay £8 for the privilege! Normal travelodge in what's your last name ! Room(613) a good size plenty of space as is the shower room. Bed very comfortable an excellent night sleep Shower was powerful and hot Evening meal rather a disappointment a long wait for a very unappealing sausage and mash wasn't really that busy in the restaurant! There's no close by restaurant's all about a 30 min walk Breakfast not included In the morning around 7:15 the fire alarm went off and on and kept doing so until I left around 8ish ,thought it maybe someone having a shower with the door open which is often the case but it was either from the kitchen or the toaster as could smell it on the way down ! Nothing said from the receptionist like a sorry for the inconvenience or anything! Just a lot of people sitting in the restaurant looking fed up with their suitcases! The travelodge is situated by a busy road and about a 30 min walk to Wembley I'd probably stay again but there are nicer travelodges nearby if you're driving a car not in a van !

The room was very noisy. The walls are not soundproof and I’m not sure if it’s due to people walking or wind but the floor creaks A LOT. It is hard to sleep. The heater makes the room nice and warm. One side faces the north circular so only open the windows if you want to sound like you’re in the middle of traffic. The shower had black stuff around it I think the company needs to check that out. They didn’t change the toilet tissue in the bathroom, it was soggy and nearly finished. People were smoking weed you could smell it as soon as you open the window. Bed sheets had the smell of cologne. Water machine wasn’t working so I was told to drink tap water from the bathroom (was assured it’s safe to drink)… Left my charger in the room, informed reception staff and have received no response. Great place to stay 👍

We stayed one night over the weekend. The price was a bit expensive for the room/place ( paid £100), but its London over the weekend! The room was clean and the staff were very helpful. One issue, there is no way to contact reception for any problems/queries ( you have to literally, physically go to reception). There is no clear number for reception anywhere in the room and clearly no phone in the room! The other issues, there was two double glazing windows for our room that overlooks the main road. For whatever reason, the outer one is left open and there is no way to know this in the night as very dark to notice, so we had a very noisy night until morning when we realised the second window exist, which, if you close, makes huge difference. Not sure why its left open in the first place!!!
