Having stayed here before more than once, I've got to say we will not be coming back or using premier inn again. After a broken nights sleep & the mattress being not comfortable, a hot 22 degrees room so we had the window open as it was stuffy, it poured it down with rain in the early hours, which is not premier inns fault, but the rain hopper outside the window was full of plant growth, so the gutter was full & it was like being in a waterfall, which is down to poor maintenance of the exterior. We reported it to reception the next morning, after 1st trying to get past carpet fitters blocking the doorway leading to the lift, the stench of spray glue in the corridor was overpowering. Reception said they could see we were tired & would make a report on the computer & gave us a sorry card for not having a good nights sleep & that someone would ring from customer service, reception did change our room, & we had 1 nights sleep out of 2 paid for. I filled in a online form when we got home & have heard nothing from customer service & its nearly a fortnight now. If they can't be bothered to respond by now, I don't see why we should chase after them. The tables in the brewers Fayre are sticky as other reviews have said, some staff stand chatting to each other, ignoring that your there, & we saw people sending food back to the kitchen. My other review on TripAdvisor was that it was very good when weve stayed before, but we are voting with our feet & money & will spend it where we receive customer service, not broken promises of a good nights sleep. Pictures below of outside room 211.

AVOID AT ALL COSTS IF TRAVELLING WITH A BABY. We've been left absolutely bemused by the Premier Inn here. Provided us a broken cot which we did not feel safe leaving our baby in over night. Staff member came to view the broken cot, agreed it was broken but then said 'that is what it is'. We were given no alternative cot or option, told to call guest services the following day and they will sort it out. We had to leave the room and drive home which we did not need at the end of a long day. Guest services have since refused a refund echoing the above. Absolutely bizarre that the Premier inn think this is acceptable behaviour breaking their own policies.

The hotel staff were really nice, however the restaurant staff had an awful attitude it really shocked me.we had the meal deal got served the main course quite quickly this wasn't very nice, the tikka masala curry was so waterey and thin but I ate it this wasn't the issue we then sat at our table 35mins waiting for one of the staff to take our plates and serve the dessert, there were 2 staff cleaning tables and chatting there weren't many other customers in about 4 other tables so because we wanted to settle in after a long journey and I couldn't catch the eye if the staff I had to go to the lady at front of restaurant I very nicely asked if "we could have our puds please" she looked quite annoyed that she'd got to deal with it then a young girl came said quite harshly is this 35 I said yes and smiled she took the empty plates without a word no apology etc then came back and banged our desserts so hard on the table other customers looked up .we left this bad attitude and just ate and left .However we went to breakfast the next morning the lady at front of house was the same one from the night before she asked had we been before which we had so knew it was self service she then said would you like to give me your cooked breakfast order now or shall I come back so I smiled and said no you can take it now if its easier so she did we then went to get juice, tea and cereal etc making a couple of journeys which she witnessed as we sat down to eat our cereal she came out immediately t with our cooked breakfast I was shocked as we've used premier lots of times this hotel 3 times in 6 weeks so I knew usually they clear your cereal then bring your cooked she just stood there looking at us then sarcastically said oh shall I take these back and put them on the hot plate which she did and when we got them they were awful.needless to say we will never...
