Agnes is simply outstanding. Every time I stay at the Premier Inn, she makes me feel completely welcome – it’s like being greeted by a friend who also happens to be amazing at her job. She’s warm, funny, and full of personality, but she’s also professional, efficient, and transparent in everything she does. You can tell she genuinely cares about guests and will go out of her way to help whenever she can. I was actually staying at the Harvester (which is rated higher) but chose to switch back here purely because of Agnes – and, of course, the better nightlife in the area. She’s the kind of person who turns a hotel into a place you look forward to returning to. Honestly, she’s a real asset to Premier Inn and I couldn’t recommend her more

Room did have a strong und unpleasant smell. Heating not working as it should with the room being very cold on return. Parts inside the room are broken (see pictures) and not well maintained. I don’t mind the interior being older as long as well taken care of which is not the case here. Check-in was not possible on arrival because of the system being down. However the way it was handled was not professional. The 2 ladies at reception were left alone with no help. The hotel chain seems to miss a clear procedure for such a case and the employees have to manage all on their own.

Ideal location for an overnight stop off, just off the M6 motorway. Check in and check out were very quick and easy. We were travelling with a baby so were given a room with a cot on the ground floor. Rooms are spacious and clean and include a bath tub. There is plenty of parking on site, just remember to register your vehicle at reception when checking in. There is an Aldi and a Subway just behind the hotel which is very convenient.

We’re no newbies to premier inns but I have to say this was the worst one we’ve been to. We booked this hotel as it was only a 30 minute (ish) drive from Crufts and at a reasonable price. This hotel doesn’t offer accessible wet rooms which is a shame, it only offers lowered baths but to book in a hotel with a wet room was an additional £15 per night for us so we made do. We weren’t allowed to check in an hour early despite the room being ready (which was confirmed by reception) which seemed a little silly to us as we just sat in the car park for an hour instead of occupying an empty room. Numerous work vans were parked in the limited disabled bays without blue badges and the parking rules were not enforced by the staff. The hotel room was somewhat clean but had numerous stains down the walls that looked like they hadn’t been cleaned at all. The room itself was very small considering it was an accessible room. I barely had space to turn my wheelchair around which made the stay quite difficult. The mattress was very old and sunken in the middle so getting out of the bed as a disabled person was made increasingly difficult. It was very uncomfortable as well. The worst part for us though was the noise. You could hear the conversations of everyone in the corridors, in the rooms next door and even the rooms upstairs. The TVs from other rooms and even footsteps meaning it was a very restless 3 nights of disturbed sleep. Unfortunately, the hotel was the most disappointing part of our trip and I wouldn’t use this specific Premier Inn again if I...

The first and LAST time we will be staying at this hotel. We were disturbed on our first night at 2am by BED BUGS! Absolutely disgusting. Took photographs and videos for evidence, we went down to reception, didn’t even receive an apology from the receptionist, was given another key to a new room after waiting for 20 minutes for it to be finalised as the receptionist stated that the hotel would be “fully booked” the next day and was apparently unable to provide us with a new room. Either that or the rooms were just not cleaned… Who knows? Lol. We had to pack and carry our luggage from one room to another bearing in mind we were sleepless and had work at 8am the next day. There were numerous bites all over my friend’s body, they were very itchy and sore which resulted in us both losing sleep due to feeling uncomfortable and disturbed. I don’t even think any action was taken, not even a pest control company were called to the hotel. Not just that, due to the bites being really bad, my friend had to visit the hospital and was given medication; she had to leave work as the bites were swelling up, such an awful experience. Worst thing was being an hour and a half away from home, absolutely disgraceful. Before leaving to check out, we were asked if our stay was okay, I obviously mentioned the bed bugs however the receptionist was clearly not aware and questioned “Bed bugs?” Clearly other staff were not aware of the situation and most probably have provided that same room to another customer. Good luck to whoever stays at...

Firstly let's start with the positive. The attached restaurant was lovely, great food, good service, nice atmosphere also good value when using Meal deal option. The hotel itself is in a convenient location.||Now the not so good, this hotel is rundown and in need of a freshen up. The reception staff all looked and acted like they really didn't want to be there. Poor security, from early til late the main doors were wide open and the internal doors were broken meaning I could walk all the way to my room door with no security card. The hot water was almost non existant, you have to get up 15 minutes early to start the shower going or you'll have the pleasure of a cold one, even then it was lukewarm at best. This wasn't just my room, other guests commented the same. I appreciate it states when booking there is no aircon, however with night time temps in the low teens it should be ok, not here, the room was stifflingly hot and of course the fan provided was broken. Not a problem I'll open the window, now I can't sleep as the main road is right there (to be honest it was still noisy with the window closed)||I've stayed in Premier inns all over the UK and this was the worst, I'm not fussy and will stay anywhere but when booking a premier inn you expect a level standard. ||There are way better places to stay in the area. 2 Stars purely because of the restaurant, the...
