The festive meal brought three Christmas eve to celebrate my daughter coming to visit for Christmas. The food was completely vile the main was so burnt that wasn't fit for the human comsuption, my disable daughter suffered diguestral problems. The food was completely vile that the wasn't fit for the cat. the staff completely disappeared, they over charge only to be told the staff were refusing to help on the festive meals because head office were making them do something different from what meals. The man over charge but explained that they didn't want to actually serve festive food. I was over charged by twelve pounds, my disable daughter was ill over the Christmas period. I rang the restaurant the staff were refusing to accept the fact that the food the wasn't fit for human comsuption. We tried to contact staff before leaving the restaurant before, but with four members of staff attending to a busy restaurant, so rang to find that the staff were clearly that many customers were very disappointed with the service and hygiene around the floor area. I rang customer service they asked me to go the restaurant boxing day only to find the general manager not fit for work as she clearly been drinking the night before. Her attitude was severely inpaied and clearly though she was the Head manager of the whole company. I was told to collect the money from her . The manager claimed she hadn't job ard from the Head Office and clearly she was still worse for the Christmas spirit, which again l thought children should not have been in such establishment. She refused to refund the money and a refund of forty pounds fifty pence and clearly her customer approach for an environment where disabled people and children clearly show she would be considered a matter of safety because of her state in her approach to do deal with disable guests was something that people should be aware of. The staff on the helpline were disgusting in their behaviour where twice as bad, they clearly needs to be more respectful and deal with the management at at the rugby centre park. They lied on several occasions and they said they continued to cause myself and my disable guest further distress. The lies contained with offer of part cash return and vouchers which clearly cannot repay the amount a amount of distress and distress caused by the the family with disabilities dealing with the the appalling service and the financial lost plus the distress of my daughter and myself experiencing the problem of the. stablishment Personally despite the fact the food and service was completely unacceptable and I will never step foot in the brewer fayre restaurant as long as ood food that shouldn't have been serve in such a way to cause such distress to...

Read moreUpon arrival, we were greeted by a staff member who showed us to our table and promised to return in five minutes to take our drinks order. However, about 15 minutes passed before he arrived, only to take another table’s order.
We ordered starters and mains. The starters arrived quickly, but my partner’s sharing platter didn’t come with the rest. We waited another 10 minutes before asking about it, and he informed us of a kitchen mix-up that required another 10 minutes. By then, my dad and I had finished our starters.
When the sharing platter finally arrived, we noticed some of the food was missing, and the rest didn’t look appealing. Despite this, we didn’t want to send it back and wait another 10 minutes, so we just ate it.
When our mains came out, my partner’s mixed grill was well-done, and he requested the steak to be cooked medium-rare, so he didn’t eat it. He was disappointed but still ate it because he was starving and didn’t want to wait any longer. He also found the peas vile and the chips were cold.
There was no follow-up on how the food was, which is a crucial aspect of hospitality as i’m a waitress myself. I overheard the waiter mention a 35-40 minute wait for food, which I can understand if there was only one person in the kitchen. However, there were about five other tables, and each table had no more than two people.
My partner did speak to a manager, who apologised for the food and removed his meals from the bill. He also offered us a round of drinks, which we declined because we just wanted to leave.
I don’t like to complain, but overall, it was a...
