Exceptional Service from Kul at Premier Inn West Bromwich Gas Street

I recently traveled from Sheffield to West Bromwich with my two very tired autistic children, arriving at the hotel just before midnight. We were warmly welcomed by Kul, who went above and beyond to assist us during a stressful situation.

I was horrified to discover that I had mistakenly booked my reservation for the wrong day. In a panic, I quickly went online at the reception and booked a new room, but in my haste, I accidentally booked a double room instead of a family room. Kul was absolutely amazing throughout the entire ordeal. He remained calm, caring, and kind, despite the late hour and my mistake.

Kul went out of his way to help us by personally checking all the available rooms to see if he could arrange a family room for us. After finding one, he even escorted us to our room, ensuring that we were comfortable and settled in.

Kul was truly the angel that saved us that night. His outstanding service and dedication to helping us in a difficult moment were beyond commendable. I can’t thank you enough, Kul! Premier Inn West Bromwich, you have an incredible staff member in Kul—he deserves a bonus for his...

I had an amazing stay at this Premier Inn, and it was all thanks to the incredible staff who went above and beyond to make me feel at home.

Irinka, the manager, was professional, kind, and clearly runs a tight ship. The hotel was spotless, welcoming, and well-organized—her leadership really shines through.

A big shoutout to Kulwant and Eddie (apologies if I spelled that wrong!)—the two brothers who made every interaction feel like catching up with old friends. You two are legends. Thanks for the laughs and the warm hospitality.

Ahmed, thank you for being so helpful during the night shifts. You were patient and attentive when I needed assistance, and that meant a lot.

To Michele – is everything alright? šŸ˜„ Just checking in! Your energy was uplifting and appreciated.

And last but not least… Hayley – I love you. You made my stay unforgettable in ways words can’t fully express.

Truly grateful for everyone here. This Premier Inn is not just a place to sleep—it's a place where you’re treated like family. I’ll...

Stayed there about a month ago now for 1 night. Staff on reception were okay, there was a trainee there which wasn't fully up to date with things and the person with her (not sure if it was her manager or just a colleague at the time we checked in late night) kept correcting her in front of us. Our room was the last one of the inn and it felt like it was a converted Travel lodge room! The heater wasn't working. Asked the staff and she brought x2 electric heaters for us which was okay in the end. We stayed for 1 night and had breakfast in the restaurant in the morning. We wanted vegan/eggless options so the staff just handed us the allergens book for us to have a look at. Nothing was labelled (we had been to previous Premier Inns where items were labelled) and options seemed less compared to other Premier Inns. The place in general seemed abit rundown and not to Premier Inn standard. The shower also felt like it was the one at a Travel Lodge which was...

Great customer service however if anyone reads this from Premier Inn I would like to offer some Constructive feedback, firstly I’m writing this as a disabled customer, I wish your disabled car parking spaces where nearer the main entrance to make it a little easier, the other strange thing that seems to happen at s lot of hotel is that as a disabled user why do you put the accessible rooms right at the very end of the hotel building, a lot of disabled persons have mobility issues so having to walk past 40/50 rooms to access a disabled room, please consider moving disabled rooms closer to reception. We had breakfast and the lady who served us was very polite and we placed our order for cooked breakfast, was served and presented well thank you, the only annoying thing was the toaster took forever just to cook some toast, maybe a more efficient toaster could be bought?

Although looking a little worn, particularly from the outside. My room was large enough with plenty of room for spreading out. It was nice to have a bath with an overhead shower at least giving me the option. The rooms are fairly standard when it comes to furnishings and if you've seen o e room you've seen them all with bed, desk, chair, wardrobe & Bed. The Premier Inn beds are always comfortable and they also offer a choice of pillows from hard to soft. The restaurant next door is of the Table table brand and although a very similar menu to Beefeater with its current offerings it appears to be better value for money in my opinion. The food was hot, served quickly and definitely filled a gap. Overall a good hotel for the weary traveler or for those on a business overnighter.

Very surprised at how dated this hotel is. Stayed on a day when it was 27°C outside. No air conditioning, a desktop fan was provided. Window could only open a little. Room smelt funny upon entry. Tissue paper lodged in the viewing hole in the door. Reception staff were great, but this place needs updating and properly cleaning. Also, the attached restaurant pub is best avoided. I gave that restaurant a glowing review a few years ago, but it has gone massively downhill since.
