Robin Holiday Cottage — Hotel in Teignbridge

We have just returned from a break at Robin Cottage and cannot fault it in any way. We found out about it whilst doing a Llama walk earlier this year with Diane and Steve. They were so friendly and welcoming that we did not hesitate to book the cottage for the half term break. The accommodation itself is warm and homely with the most amazing views that give you an instant 'relax' feeling. There is the added bonus of having alpacas in the field next door which are very entertaining to watch. No need for TV here! The location is great for exploring Dartmoor and we had some lovely days out followed by evenings in the hot tub which we loved. Whilst Steve and Diane live in the cottage next door we were never really aware that they were there other than seeing them go about looking after the animals which they very obviously take very good care of. I would definitely recommend a stay here and in fact have already booked again for next year. We loved it, the kids loved it - what more could you want. Thankyou Steve and Diane we can't wait...

Robin Cottage was well set up with everything we needed for our week away. The beds we very comfy and I was impressed with the Alpaca duvet and pillows. ||Having a hot tub was such a bonus, and it was cleaned daily by our friendly hosts, who are on hand to ask advice on places to visit etc. It was a lovely spot to go exploring (a car is essential though, as there are no walks direct from the cottage). We didn't feed the alpacas or go on a walk with them, but it was funny to see them peering over the hedge at us! ||Having a choice of where to eat our dinner was great, and we really enjoyed watching all the birds on the feeder and waiting for the 6pm visit of a lesser spotted woodpecker who came along around then...

We had a fab time at Robin cottage, staying with our young children during half term. Diane and Steve were the perfect hosts and made us feel so welcome. The cottage itself was spotless, comfortable and the views from the back window were just stunning. The photos really don't do it justice. ||The beds were comfortable and we all slept well as it was so peaceful. The hot tub is a fab addition to the lovely garden, with anazing views. The highlight for the kids (and us) was getting to live next to the alpacas for a few days- it was amazing to see them so relaxed on their own turf and to spend time nearby. ||All in all we loved it here and will...
