We stayed at the Rodeway Inn, In Ainsworth Nebraska for two nights. Checking in on 10-11-13 and checking out on 10-13-13. I was plesently surprised of the quality of the room after reading some of the reviews saying how the rooms were dated. After arriving I found out that they have recently updated most of, if not all of the rooms. The bedding was clean and modern looking and the bed its self was rather comfortable too. At first I thought our room was missing the TV because it wasn't in the entertainment center where it normally goes. I looked again and noticed they have also up graded the TV's to flat screens that are mounted on the wall which is very nice. You also have a mini fridge which is actually of good size for you to use which helps if you have brought your own snacks or drinks along. There was really only one thing that I noticed that was dated in the room, and that was the tile on the bathroom floor. Even though it might be dated its still in great condition and was clean. It looked like it was still nearly new. The only thing I would consider adding to the room would be a microwave which could easily sit on top of the mini fridge. We also used the pool which was great and the kids enjoyed alot. It was clean and actually warm. It felt good. So many times pools at hotels are cold but this one was quite nice. It would be nice if some day they could add or put a hot tub back in. At one time they use to have one but for some reason ended up taking it out. Last but not least the free breakfast in the moring. The area was nice, roomy and clean and the TV to watch the news and weather on in the morning was nice. I'm really not that big of a breakfast person so it didn't matter too me much but was a bit disapointed that they didn't have any rolls, donuts or bananas to choose from. However they did have some muffins, baggles, yogert, cerial and you could make yourself some waffles, so its not like they didn't have anything I was just surprised they didn't have some of the other stuff. Over all it's a very nice motel that's modern with a great staff thats very friendly. It's small, quiet and peacefull just like most of the town and would stay there again in...
Read moreDefinitely would stay here again! The bed was very comfortable. The room was spacious. Everything was very clean. Our air conditioner worked great. I also had my puppy with me and there is a $25 pet fee. Check-in was fine, we didn't have a reservation and the girl working the desk was pleasant enough. We must've missed breakfast by a few minutes because everything was put away but the lady cleaning up was nice enough to open the refrigerator so I could get a frozen burrito out. My only complaints were the group of men standing outside by the side/end door into the hotel smoking weed (enough that anyone within a 100' radius would've gotten a contact high after just a few short moments) so we used the main entrance door to avoid that and our bathroom door almost didn't close at all but i did get it by really pushing - after shower humidity though there was no...
Read moreCome back to class reunions to Ainsworth and is best place to stay by far. Need to book early as most know this and it is filled early and we have had to stay as far as Atkinson to get a room! It is clean and has everything you need and the staff is very friendly. Being raised in Ainsworth made me feel as though I was back home. Making my reservations now for next years class reunion and reminding my classmates but even wanting to beat them in getting a room! This time was just back with my grown children showing them where I grew up and was really a great time. My Father owned the Livestock Market in Ainsworth and Atkinson in the 1950's and 1960's. Was good to see the whole town...
