One of the worst cafes I have been to. We got stuck in Ainsworth for awhile and had a group of 8. We found this place on Google and decided to give it a try. Atmosphere: we walked in the cafe and it was roasting hot. The AC was either not on or they do not do much to cool this place. You could feel the grease almost on your skin and your clothes will definitely smell when you leave. The service: the staff was very unwelcoming. The the server hardly speaking to us, to forgetting our items we ordered, to not bringing any refills…it all was terrible. I had to ask the guy at the front to remove items from the bill that we didn’t even get. Food: the food was just downright terrible. I love little small town cafes and find that most of the time it is some of the best food ever. This is not the case. The burgers were bland and just tasted like it was just patties thrown in a girl with zero seasoning. The fries were not cooked throughout and were limp, the Rueben’s that two of our people ordered they did not even eat because they were just gross. I will say the gizzards were delicious and battered well so safe bet there.
Overall: I would highly recommend checking out something else in the town if at...
Read moreIf you go to a grease pot, you'll get grease pot style food. Consider renaming the "Pizza" Burger because there is absolutely nothing pizza about it - chicken fried steak on a bun, with no cheese/pepperoni/MARINARA ? Just call it what it is: a plain chicken fried steak burger. Mac'n'cheese bites, fried cauliflower, fried mushrooms were decent enough & as expected. Wonderful chocolate shake! The burger was unseasoned ground beef patties and the high content of grease in the patty made my husband vomit repeatedly & feel sick to his stomach after we left. I feel pretty bad to see how short staffed they are, a 1 man show essentially, but the unfortunate truth is that I wouldn't feed this food to...
Read moreNo one really knows the DB like that. For some reason it isn’t a global hit and instead lies in a small town in Nebraska known for their dogs. I think that it can hold its own however, as the burgers were nice juicy and tender compared to other fast food spots (ahem… McDonald’s)
If the DB could expand that would be great, as its rivals, like subway and Pizza Hut are global icons at this point. I believe that DB could rival those fast food spots and take over the fast food industry
Ranking of restaurants in this small town: Subway DB Big John’s Pizza Hut Runza (definition of mid) McDonald’s (I literally choked on their dry burgers) Del taco (gave me...
