Days Inn by Wyndham Alma — Hotel in Alma

I booked & paid $284 for a two night stay and when I arrived late, I was informed that my room was given to someone else. I had been volunteering doing hurricane cleanup all day & was exhausted & there were no hotels for a hundred miles. I asked to use the restroom because I hadn't gone all day while in remote areas assisting residents. I was told it was for employees only & to use the gas station restroom. I was left with nowhere to stay in 40 degree weather & then got cussed out by someone in the parking lot because i tried to drive around her stopped car blocking the exit. Classy clientele. Likely the lady you sold my room to. This motel has no integrity or respect for a reservation. It has been 3 days & I still have not been refunded. I drove 4 hours to this area on my own money & time to help the community & this is how I was treated. I had my volunteer shirt on so they knew what I was there for & did NOTHING to help me find alternative accommodations. The manager would only talk over me & put the fault all on me. You already know someone offered them under the table cash for my room & they took it. I'll NEVER be back. Disgusting...

Came with my husband from far for my birthday weekend ,I was planning on staying just one night bc I usually don’t stay at any days inn because I’ve had terrible experiences with almost all of them but it’s the only hotel in Alma so I had no choice as my family lives in the area. I was in room 203 & I have a service dog (Izzy) that was with me and most hotel staff isn’t friendly to my dog because she is very friendly and curious, however I had to get on here and leave a review because the housekeeper a sweet young lady was extremely friendly and was very sweet to my Izzy!! She even remembered her by name and would always say hey when she saw us walking Izzy outside!! She also made sure to say happy birthday and give us exceptional room service!! Room smelled so clean and I was so impressed I decided to stay another night! I will definitely be here again and will highly recommend this hotel to everyone I know near the area!! I did ask the sweet housekeeper for her name and she said GG! Thank you GG for making us feel welcome and...

We had a family funeral in nearby town but stayed in Alma to car pool with other family members. We called to schedule reservation for next day and was told room would be ready by noon. We arrived the following day around 1:30-2pm. The room was not ready. We had to change our clothes in the nasty room for the funeral viewing after driving 5+ hours . ironing board was broken and pad was badly stained. When we returned from viewing the vending machine for water didn't work so had to go to another store. I went to take a shower and pubic hairs in shower. The following morning when we turned on the lights roaches were in coffee pot and crawling up the wall.

I cannot believe anyone should pay for such a horrific experience. When we checked out and told clerk what happened they said "oh sorry. Owner was supposed to had sprayed for the roaches."

Omg!!! Seriously? Health department, please close down this...
