Where to start?? First room wasn't too bad, small, clean, although tv volume and channels worked sometimes, room was on the front and highway noise was atrocious, beds were not comfortable, felt like sleeping on box spring. We felt like the bed was a full size, not queen which didn't work for us, sleepless nights when I was there to visit. What you'd expect for the price. Weekly rate was perfect for my traveling spouse who was working in Phillipsburg, KS. This last room though, and I didn't have time to take pictures, toilet had black duct tape on it, tub was stained, rust stains on the floor, there was no globe/cover on the bathroom light. It was a 2 bed unit, and he was told not to use both beds. (? no reason given, what would it matter? Especially if he was staying there weekly for what we thought was going to be several months.) I appreciate a good price and don't expect I'm at the Ritz Carlton, but duct taped toilet? This is likely ideal for traveling workers, it's a bed to sleep in and there are a refrigerator and microwave. I personally would pay a little more to have a little better overall stay. The pictures online depicted what the rooms did look like, continental breakfast awful, juice machine inoperative, very basic, limited items. Have your hearing ears on and pay close attention, communication difficult, a little unsure how to feel about the reaction to my visit, was not charged extra after husband had been there and supposed to be there several months possibly. Didn't end up having to pay extra, but only because he reassured them I wasn't going to be there except a few days, of which I'd spend most of the day out and about. 2 occupants with 1 bed prices should be the same as 1 person. That may be a personal thing, I have not experienced an extra charge before when traveling. 2 adults 1 bed same price as 1 and 1. Weekly stay rates were good and helped save that daily per Diem. I gave a 2 star rating as opposed to a 1 because it's not the worst place we've ever stayed, it could...
Read moreThe dirtiest, cheapest, and sketchiest motel I have ever seen. I've seen motels in horror movies that I'd rather stay at than this one. If I had to choose between this motel and pitching a tent in the gas station parking lot, I'm choosing the gas station parking lot all day long!!
The staff was clueless, our room was filthy, beds were unmade with human hair and dirt on the sheets, wet towels still on the ground... the guy working the front desk didn't even know where our room was and kept calling some guy named Tim who worked at an Econo Lodge in Kansas for help. He handed me his phone to me and Tim was more rude and clueless than the guy at the front desk! The staff lied to us repeatedly and refused to offer a refund.
Stay at the Super 8 across the street, don't even bother with this place.
Whoever owns this place should be completely embarrassed. Hopefully it gets bulldozed to the ground...
Read moreWhen we are travelling by car from our destination to home when we stop we are just looking for a clean room, a comfortable bed and good nights sleep. I am sorry to say we got none of those. The night clerk was friendly and we called ahead to see if they had a handicapped room available. We were assured they had one. When we arrived we were shown our room. He helped by wife to the room and with some of the luggage. He thanked us and left. The room was small, very dark (no overhead and only 2 lamps on either side of the bed and one small one in bathroom) dusty and a bed that was like a rock. It was late and just wanted to crawl in bed. The AC/heater was loud and worked when it wanted too. It was a very unsatisfying stay and we will...
