Saravilla Bed & Breakfast — Hotel in Alma

My husband and I spent our wedding night at Saravilla and it was such an amazing experience! We both grew up in Ithaca and always admired how grand Saravilla was. We’re both history buffs and love victorian character—we knew we needed to finally stay here! We had never stayed at a B&B before. Loved the ease of access and communication with staff, the squeaky stairs, the woodwork, the decorative doorknobs—I could go on and on. Our room was the Ammi Wright suite and it was so wonderful. Very spacious and the bathroom was glorious. Nice large tub and really pretty light fixtures and tile. I just wanted to live in there haha! We slept really well too. Didn’t hear a peep and we woke up to the sun soaking into the room so beautifully. Breakfast the next morning was delicious. We also had the opportunity to visit more with a few family members at breakfast, who were also staying at the B&B! We explored the house a bit and literally at every turn we went, “whoa..” Thank you for preserving this beauty’s beauty!! We met back up with our family later in the day and I couldn’t stop telling them about our stay. Just one nights stay and we were blown away! Highly, highly recommend Saravilla....

Nice place to stay it is a beautiful home. I have to give some credit with that. The breakfast was okay. I was wondering where the syrup was for the French toast bake and there was a stink bug in the room and I didn't pay much attention to it because it was an old house. But we left and came back to a note on our door about smoking in the room. We didn't smoke in the room and so I called and they said it was bc they could smell smoke. Well for one why are you leaving a note on the door for everyone to see and for two we had a baby with us for three we don't smoke in the same room as the baby at home why would we else where? I get that maybe some people smelled it from us going outside but I did call and ask about a designated smoking area. Poor customer service for sure. I just don't see why they didn't politely speak to us about it personally? We left a day early because we felt unwelcomed and uncomfortable. No money back either. Not even...

We absolutely LOVE Saravilla Bed & Breakfast! We had to replan our wedding due to COVID19, and Saravilla was the PERFECT place to have our small wedding ceremony and reception! Saravilla was SO accommodating to our needs, and kept the health and safety of our family members a top priority for our wedding. It was a beautiful setting for our wedding in August, and we had both the ceremony and reception outside. Saravilla took care of all the set-up of everything, and we couldn't have asked for a more wonderful day! We also stayed at Saravilla for the weekend, and it was such a comfortable and amazing place to stay!
